Cummins 8.3L ISC turbo, same engine used in the D3 REs. Always thought they sounded a bit out of the ordinary, but they are quite unique in their own way 😁
@@landon-z3q The ICREs you see here are mainly 2013 - 2014 Models, and they’re all being used as spares both for the newest buses in the fleet (they have not registered the new buses for service yet) and the existing buses here in the school. (30 is the only ICRE assigned)
@@superbrownsheep3777Westfield used to have a bunch of HDX’s, but they started replacing them with bluebirds. I was very lucky that I was able to buy one of the older HDX’s
They are spares that have a magnet behind that plate like you said and the numbers are also magnetic they have them to prevent students from getting lost or om the wrong bus

Great video!! Any idea what does the # 3060 behind the IC RE's means ? I believe one of the Blue Birds RE's on this video has it too.
@@MarcosAR I believe it means the state district ID Code. they stopped doing it at some point although i’m unsure why
