I love my 2020 TRD Off Road 4Runner, the best vehicle I'v owned, I do miss my 2017 TRD Sport 4x4 Tacoma and I do miss my 2016 Miata GT which is the most fun car and one of my Favorites I'v owned, guess I could add my 2016 and 2017 Mazda 6 to the list as my Favorites.
After I saw a Santa Cruz in person, I was surprised at how good it looked. I am really surprised that nobody is customizing these or putting a turbo on the non turbo version. I think the Santa Cruz is a modern/Korean version of the El Camino and is one of the most interesting modern vehicles.
@@richeyrich2203 On 4wd 24-7, Graham Cahill put a small turbo on his 4x4 to give it a slight increase in power. Because it produces a small amount of boost, it has been reliable for years. If you are going for high boost or maximum boost, then it produces more stress and shortens the life of the engine.
@@jamesm9560 You don't know what the weak point is until you break it. I'm not the type of person that can drive a vehicle stock and not tinker with it. I find most modern cars/trucks boring. But I would love to tinker with (modify) a Santa Cruz. The Santa Cruz could either be an off road truck with an Eibach lift, and knobby tires or a Sport truck with some extra horsepower, Tremic or 4L60E transmission, and sticky tires.
You guys are great. I’ve watched many hours of TFL footage, but not much of the podcasts (you guys have helped inform my buying decisions: 23 Mini Cooper SE; 23 Maverick Lariat Hybrid). In this one it was a little weird when you each talk over a video of yourselves talking. Sometimes it looks like you’re doing actual voiceover. Crazy. Anyway, thanks for all the insight! Happy new year!
I have a 2000 Mazda Millenia Millennium S Edition, Silver color and all original with 70,000 miles on it, it has that Miller Cycle Engine in it, new tires and a other things done to the engine, it's all original and well maintained. I can sell it, it belonged to my late dad, he bought it brand new and I did help him pick it out.
Sigh..... what is simple happiness? Waking up after four years after watching TFL recommend a Jeep KK and purchasing one and hearing that it is still as great to them as it has been for me. Thank you TFL. PS. The roof is question was the Sky Slider. I know of used car dealer who purchased one from an auction and he said that it was such a mistake that he was finally retiring and handing the business to his son.
The 2 door of that RAV4 is borderline sketchy on road. The steering is so darty. Haha. I could see where the AWD version might be interesting at like 5k tops.
Me: * watching pretty much exclusively TFL, maybe with some Doug DeMuro mixed in * TFL: "We bought this Miata..." Me: YOU BOUGHT WHAT?!?!?!😮😮😮 How did it slip right past me?
I'd like to see a vid like this on all the pick ups you've handled and what y'all thought. I loved Gunsmoke and that Square body. Those are how I came to know y'all.
That SL was my favorite inexpensive convertible😢 Even though that body type wasn't quite my favorite design era if like R230 and R231, it was still from my favorite car brand, and it still did look the best to me, even though it was one of those boxy MBs.
In my early 20s I'm 37 now I bought a 76 wide body 911 for 6 k all it needed was fuel system gone through I couldn't afford at time so ended up selling for 7 a yr later my biggest regret selling that
Well now I am even more disappointed that you guys didn’t use a sequoia in the cheap Toyota challenge. I really want to see you guys take one out on the trail so bad, sad you can’t find a good one
Is it worth doing a side-by-side off-road comparison of the N/A Santa Cruz and the Turbo? Would love to see how different they are with their capabilities!
I end up listening to all the TFL talk podcasts whether it's on Apple podcasts or on UA-cam. My question is if I'm only going to listen to them once and I can listen to UA-cam and Apple podcasts in my truck equally well. Which is better monetarily for TFL? I know it's only fractions of a cent but I was just curious?
Land Rover reliability has always been hit and miss. Some people (very few) have never had issues with theirs after regular maintenance and love it as a result, some have problems in the first 100 miles and can't wait to get rid of theirs.
was looking at the reviews on the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Wow what a piece of crap most owners could not wait to trade them back in. with less than 20k on most of them. The owners said most of the time of their ownership the vehicle was in the repair shop. With recurring issues. Engines blowing up, steering problems, tire problems, electrical issues. moon glass leaking. The interior headliner falling down. Junk stay away. The reviews are horrible. I can not see the 23 model being much better.
What would you buy with your own money and keep 20 years Nathan Bronco or 5th 4Runner TRD Pro ? Yes the Pro might not be as capable buy is it better to live with every day ? I have always said 20 year old Corvette’s are a lot of bang for the buck as there are so many ones low mileage.
I'm a huge Toyota fan and not the biggest Ford fan. That being said, I'd probably take a 2 door Bronco with a manual transmission. That's such a sweet vehicle.
@@anthonykiedis1765 I have had a few manual transmissions and they show no advantage in driving. Other than a Sports Car for Fun I'll take a Auto Transmission
