    First, you must apply for a job offer and persuade an employer in the UAE to hire you. Then the employer applies for a work permit, and you enter the country to complete the rest of the process.
    Every stage you have to follow, and the supporting documents you must submit are explained in the video.
    This is a step-by-step guide to getting your UAE work visa and moving to the country.

    That was really informative and helpful, thank you. My question is, how can I tell if a job offer (for teaching English) and/or the visa service place I was referred to by the school is a scam or not? What are the red flags to look for?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  8 днів тому +1

      To identify whether a job offer or visa service is a scam, there are several red flags to look out for:
      If the salary offered is significantly higher than the market rate for teaching English in the UAE, it could be a scam.
      Legitimate employers and visa services should not ask you to pay large amounts of money upfront for processing fees or visa applications.
      If the company or visa service cannot provide verifiable details such as a physical address, official website, or contactable references, proceed with caution.
      Poorly written emails, inconsistent information, or pressure to make quick decisions can be signs of a scam.
      If you are offered a job without an interview or proper vetting, this is a significant red flag.
      Always verify the authenticity of the job and visa service through independent research and, if possible, contact the UAE embassy or consulate for advice.

    • @visalibrary

      Yes, when traveling to the UAE on a work visa, you typically need a return ticket before entering the country as proof of your intention to leave when your visa expires or your work assignment concludes. It's a common requirement for most countries to ensure visitors do not overstay their visas.

      When your UAE work visa finishes, your bank accounts will generally remain active for a certain period, typically up to six months, depending on the bank's policies. You don't need to withdraw your money immediately, but it’s advisable to inform your bank about your visa status and future plans to ensure your account remains in good standing and to avoid any complications.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  8 днів тому

      The entire process to obtain an employment visa in the UAE typically takes about 2 to 3 weeks after signing the job offer letter. However, this can vary depending on how quickly your employer processes the necessary paperwork and submits the application to the relevant authorities. It's advisable to follow up with your employer to ensure that everything is on track before your visit visa expires on August 30, 2024.

    Hi Thank you for the informative video. I have a question. My employer plans on transferring me to the UAE and I'd like to take my family with. However the visas for my family will not be sponsored. Can they come with me and once I get my residency, can I apply on their behalf?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  4 місяці тому

      Thank you for reaching out and I'm glad you found the video informative! Yes, once you obtain your residency in the UAE, you can sponsor your family's visas. Typically, after securing your own work visa and residency, you would need to apply for family sponsorship directly through the UAE's residency department. Keep in mind that you must meet certain salary and accommodation requirements to sponsor your family's residence visas. It's a good idea to get these details sorted out as you start your own visa process to ensure a smooth transition for your family.

    Hello, I received an offer from a company in UAE. The letter says that “employee status for the purposes of this contract is Single.”
    However, I am married and want to call my family on dependent visa once my work and residency visa is sorted. My question is, will the “single” status mentioned be a hindrance in obtaining dependent visa for my wife and kid?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  6 місяців тому

      The "single" status mentioned in your employment contract for the purposes of the UAE does not typically hinder your ability to sponsor your family for a dependent visa later on. In the UAE, the ability to sponsor family members for a dependent visa primarily depends on meeting certain salary and accommodation criteria set by the UAE immigration authorities, rather than your marital status as noted in your employment contract.
      Once you have your work and residency visa sorted and if you meet the necessary requirements (such as a minimum salary threshold and suitable housing), you should be able to apply for dependent visas for your wife and child. It's important to ensure that you have all the required documents for the application, including your marriage certificate and your child's birth certificate, which may need to be attested or certified depending on the regulations at the time of application.

    Is degree attestation is Mandatory for Work Visa?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  9 місяців тому

      Yes, degree attestation is typically mandatory for obtaining a work visa in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). UAE authorities often require that your educational documents, including your degree certificates and transcripts, be attested or legalized to verify their authenticity. The attestation process involves obtaining stamps and certificates from relevant authorities in both your home country and the UAE, confirming that your educational qualifications are genuine. This is an important step in the visa application process, and failing to provide attested documents may result in your work visa application being rejected. It's advisable to check the specific requirements and procedures with the UAE embassy or consulate in your country for the most up-to-date information on document attestation.

      The processing time for a work permit visa in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can vary depending on several factors, including your nationality, the specific type of work permit, the employer, and the processing efficiency of the UAE's immigration authorities. In some cases, the processing time can be relatively quick, taking a few weeks to a couple of months. However, for others, it may take several months to complete the necessary administrative procedures and approvals. To get the most accurate and up-to-date information on the current processing times for a UAE work permit visa, it's recommended to contact the relevant UAE government authorities or the UAE embassy or consulate in your home country. If you have a UAE employment visa and not a residence visa, you need to check if you are eligible for Visa on Arrival (VOA) in Georgia. The eligibility for VOA in Georgia for UAE residents typically applies to those with a residence visa, not necessarily an employment visa. It's important to verify the current visa requirements for Georgia based on your specific type of UAE visa. Contact the Georgian embassy or check official sources for the most accurate information.

    I received a job offer and my employer referred me to a travel agency to filled for my residence visa and my work permit . Is this common in the UAE ?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  8 місяців тому +1

      No, it is not common practice in the UAE for employees to pay for their work visa and residence permit and then seek reimbursement from the employer. Typically, in the UAE, the employer is responsible for covering all the costs associated with obtaining a work visa and residence permit for their employees. This process is part of the sponsorship system in the UAE.
      If an employer is asking you to pay these costs upfront and seek reimbursement later, it could be a red flag, and you should proceed with caution. It's advisable to verify the legitimacy of the job offer and the employer, and possibly seek legal advice or contact the UAE embassy for more guidance on this matter. Scams involving job offers and visa processing fees are not uncommon, so it's important to ensure that you are dealing with a legitimate and reputable employer.

    So, as a UK citizen, Do I go their on a vista visa and then apply for work visa when I arrive via any employer?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  3 місяці тому

      As a UK citizen, you can enter the UAE on a tourist visa, which allows you to stay temporarily. However, to work legally in the UAE, you must secure a work visa and employment entry permit, typically sponsored by your employer in the UAE. It's advisable to arrange for a job and secure this sponsorship before traveling to the UAE. Once you have secured a job, your employer will then initiate the process to convert your tourist visa to a work visa. This is the recommended path to ensure compliance with UAE immigration and labor laws.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  7 місяців тому

      To convert a visit visa to a work visa in the UAE, follow these steps:
      Obtain a Job Offer: Secure a job offer from a UAE employer.
      Accept the Offer and Sign the Labor Contract: Promptly accept and sign the offer and labor contract. The employer initiates the quota and labor contract process, usually taking 2-3 working days.
      Apply for Residence Entry Permit: Your employer applies for this permit, typically a one-day process.
      Change of Status: Changing your visa status can be done within a day.
      Medical Examination: Undergo a medical exam, taking about two days for regular applicants and one day for VIPs.
      Biometric Data and Emirates ID Processing: This step generally takes 2-3 working days.
      Employment Visa Validity: The Dubai entry permit is valid for 60 days. Within this period, you must complete the procedures for your UAE work permit, labor card, and Emirates ID.
      Work Permit Application: Your employer applies for a work permit on your behalf through MOHRE.
      Residence Visa Application: Once the entry permit is approved, apply for a residence visa and, if required, for an Emirates ID.
      Labor Card Issuance: Obtain a labor card, which is necessary to validate your employment in the UAE.

      It sounds like you're in a tricky situation. Typically, legitimate employers will handle the visa processing themselves or direct you to apply through official channels without requiring payment to third-party agencies like travel agencies for visa processing. It's essential to verify the legitimacy of the job offer and the employer before proceeding further or making any payments.
      Here’s what you can do:
      Contact the Employer: Reach out directly to the company that offered you the job to request official documentation like a job offer letter or contract that includes details about visa sponsorship and processing.
      Verify the Agency: Check the credentials of 'worldlec travel UAE'. Genuine agencies should be registered and have verifiable contact details.
      Seek Legal Advice: Consider consulting with a legal expert who specializes in employment or immigration law in the UAE.
      Contact MoHRE: You can also reach out to the UAE Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MoHRE) to verify the employment offer and inquire about the correct process for obtaining work and residency permits.

      Yes, you can typically change your visa status within the UAE without needing to leave the country. When you cancel your residence visa sponsored by your father, your new employer can apply for a work visa for you. Here’s what you need to do:
      Cancel Current Residence Visa: Follow the process to cancel your current residence visa, which is sponsored by your father.
      Provide Documents to New Employer: Send the required documents, including the cancellation proof, to your new employer.
      New Visa Application: Your new employer will apply for a work visa on your behalf. During this process, you might be placed on a temporary visa status within the UAE.
      Stay in UAE: You can stay in the UAE while your new visa is being processed. Ensure all necessary steps are followed promptly to avoid any legal issues.
      It’s advisable to coordinate closely with your new employer and possibly consult with a PRO (Public Relations Officer) or an immigration expert to ensure a smooth transition.

If you've worked for 12 days and want to leave, discuss it with your employer and review the offer letter for payment terms. To verify if a company in the UAE you plan to work for is legitimate, conduct online research for reviews and information, contact the UAE embassy in your country for guidance, utilize LinkedIn to find employees associated with the company, and ask the company directly for official documents proving their registration. Additionally, you can consult with legal or professional experts who specialize in international employment.

    hi sir.. How can i secure my work permit for UAE? I am from Philippines.. I already have a job offer contract from the employer.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  6 місяців тому

      To secure your work permit for the UAE, having a job offer contract from an employer is a crucial first step. Here's an overview of the process you'll need to follow, based on the information from the Official Portal of the UAE Government and other sources:
      Obtain an Entry Permit: Initially, your employer in the UAE will apply for an entry permit (also known as a Pink Visa) on your behalf. This is the first essential step that allows you to enter the UAE legally.
      Work Permit and Residence Visa: Upon entering the UAE with the entry permit, you will have 60 days to convert this into a residence visa, during which your employer must arrange for your work permit as part of the residence visa application.
      Types of Work Permits: The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) issues various types of work permits, including permits for skilled employees, transfers between establishments, temporary work, and more. As a skilled employee with a job offer, you would typically fall under the standard work permit category.
      Documents Required: For your work permit and residence visa, you'll need to provide a valid passport, passport photos, academic qualifications, health and fitness proof from a government-approved health center in the UAE, and other relevant documents.
      Emirates ID: An Emirates ID is required for the medical screening and further processing of your residency and work permits. You will apply for this ID in person, showing your entry visa and original passport.
      Final Steps: Once your employer secures visa quota approval, you can sign your employment contract. With the work permit approval, you're officially allowed to start working in the UAE. Your employment entry visa will be converted into a Residence visa, which, along with the Labour Card, legalizes your status to live and work in the UAE.
      Visa Validity: Initially, the work permit is valid for 30 days and can be extended for another 30 days. After finalizing the residency visa, it and the work permit are typically valid for one or two years, depending on the contract, and can be renewed.
      The cost for obtaining a work permit varies depending on the worker's category, with prices ranging from AED 300 to AED 5,000 for different categories.

      The visa you get lets you work for the employer that hired you. If you want to work for someone else, you are likely to need a new permit.

      @@businessmotivation4542 No, you cannot work in Qatar with a Dubai work visa. You would need to obtain a separate work visa for Qatar if you want to work there. Each country has its own immigration rules, and work visas are not transferable between countries.

    can i submit the provisional certificate from the university?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  2 місяці тому

      For a UAE work visa, typically, the original degree certificate or a certified true copy is required as part of the documentation process for visa and work permit applications. However, if your degree certificate is not yet available and you have a provisional certificate, you might be able to use it temporarily.
      Here are a few steps you can take:
      Verify with the Employer: Since your employer is sponsoring your visa, they should provide specific guidance on what documents are acceptable. Check with them if a provisional certificate will suffice for the initial stages of the visa application.
      Check with UAE Visa Authorities: Contact the UAE embassy or consulate, or visit the official UAE government or immigration website to get definitive information on document requirements. Regulations can vary, and only official sources can provide up-to-date and legally accurate advice.
      Attestation Requirements: Whether it's a degree certificate or a provisional one, documents usually need to be attested. This involves getting the document verified by your home country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then by the UAE embassy in your country.
      Prepare for Additional Requirements: Be prepared that even if the provisional certificate is accepted initially, you might be required to submit the final degree certificate once it is issued by your university.

    Hi sir, how can i become a permanent resident so i can change jobs, study or even buy property thanks.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  7 місяців тому +1

      In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), obtaining permanent residency is not a straightforward process as it is in some other countries. The UAE does not traditionally offer permanent residency in the same way; however, they have introduced long-term residence visas known as the "Golden Visa" system. Here are key points regarding obtaining long-term residency and its benefits:
      Golden Visa: This is a long-term residence visa, introduced to allow foreigners to live, work, study, and buy property in the UAE without the need for a national sponsor and with 100% ownership of their business on the UAE’s mainland. These visas are issued for 5 or 10 years and are automatically renewed.
      Eligibility: The Golden Visa is available to investors, entrepreneurs, individuals with outstanding talents such as researchers, medical professionals, scientists, artists, and those within the fields of culture and art. It's also available to top students and graduates.
      Benefits: With the Golden Visa, you can change jobs, study, and buy property in the UAE. It also provides a more stable residency option compared to typical employment-linked visas.
      Application Process: To apply for a Golden Visa, you can start the process online through the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) or the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai.
      Requirements: The specific requirements will depend on the category under which you are applying (such as investor, entrepreneur, specialized talent, etc.).
