Oska would have been 100 years old had he lived what a superb actor he was ..and what a loss
I wrote to BBC asking them to play music to commemorate Oskar being 100. They didn’t.
Not sure if they knew how important and wonderful Oskar was. There were a lot of
famous birthdays that day, but Oskar should have been remembered. I have photos
of him on my wall with Van Cliburn and Carlos Kleiber. Three greats. Oskar,
never forgotten by me or those who loved him.
There was no one like Oskar Werner. Loved him for forty years!

Love Werner's reading here, he was an amazing actor. I really appreciate whoever uploaded this, and thank you for providing the English translation. The subtitles are a bit too large, it's distracting, and why does the image shake like that? I'd rather not complain because this recording is so damn good. Just wanted to point that out, if you're to upload another version of this with those adjustments (that is of course if you want to change it). Thanks regardless. great stuff.
trying to read faust is hard as hell!!!!...espcially reading a dual language book in which the meaning is so unclear!!!
