回應奇異恩典優美的旋律，演出者用心地詮釋，再次思想起救恩，從頭到尾皆為神的工作，藉父神獨生愛子耶穌基督被釘死在十架所完成的。

救恩是神的工作，而我們能藉神在基督耶穌裡所成就的救恩與祂(神)和好，也是神的恩典。
既說是神的恩典，就不是人做了什麼，包含不是因為人做出了信耶穌的選擇。耶穌講得清楚：「凡稱呼我主啊、主啊的人，不都能進天國。(馬太福音 7:21a)」
一個基督徒之所以能夠選擇信靠基督耶穌成為他的救主，是因為神藉著聖靈將基督的福音顯明給他(揀選)，而不是因為他自己決定選擇相信耶穌(自由意志)。
