Minor misplay with both pirates attacking Elliot, since Malcom would see only one opponent losing life, creating only one treasure as a result. Alex had Chrome Mox Up, so the missplay ultimately didn't matter, but there is that.
Isn't that irrelevant because a Pirate, Glint-Horn Buccaneer, is dealing 1 damage to all three opponents each trigger using the discard ability? Seems played correctly to me, but maybe I'm the one missing something?
@@AshenShugar81 I think this is about the treasures Alex got off combat damage. Only one opponent was dealt damage, so only one treasure should have been made
@@lucarr1041 I get that, but I'm saying three opponents have been dealt damage by a pirate, through the discard trigger. The navigator isn't limited to combat damage from what I see.
Also I really appreciate you showing the cards in the middle. Whil I’m more then familiar with the game and it’s mechanics, I don’t have every card memorized 😅
I love how jank Malcolm is, I have got an $80 malcolm/kediss deck that just wins because of the easy infinite combos you can get with artifact etb damage creatures that have been turned into pirates. Because malcolm also counts dmg outside of combat, which is nuts.
Got to love those fast games! Recently I had to play out an early infinite loop with the Worldgorger combo, because one of the opponents thought that they could "draw into a response"...😒
I saw this game on playing with power where someone played Inalla and won on turn 1, that was nutty. on the Pirate combo thing, I like playing Temur pirates with Malcolm and Tana, since green has lots of creature tutors and recursion, like noxious revival, should glinthorn die to removal.
that's how cEDH is people go infinite in like 4 turns if they get the right card draws that's why in casuals, they have unwritten rules to at least limit your deck to power level 6 or 7
Seems like Alex was actually playing chatterfang cause he had the nuts
Lol

I thought that was odd. Came down to comments make sure I wasn’t reading that wrong!

What's up with Eliot and keeping these 1 land hands? lol
That was so smooth, Alex!

This one is for my friend Cal.
This basically solidifies that Unsubstantiate is an underrated card for CEDH or EDH in general, gets around un-counterable shenanigans in a pinch.
As is Reprieve. (:
Life is better, up where it’s wetter, take it from Alex

Jerry coming off standby at 0:26 !
Some of my favorite decks, People in the house, im on death and taxes in cedh
Why two treasures? Didn't he only damage Elliot?
He did have the untapped chrome mox but you are correct Malcolm only makes one treasure per player hit so this was a mild misplay
I was wondering about that, didn't notice the Chrome Mox tho.
Loving Elliot's hair!
Happy New Year , I saw 9 minutes game, I was like oh no lol..gg everyone see u next time
Yeah, should have only made one treasure at 6:30, but the Chrome Mox mana would have been enough to get it going regardless.
Before the game gets going. I predict bomber to win quickly. Lol.
Seems really fun doing the thing you KNOW you can do. What a waste of time.
Far away from having fun
Does everyone draw on Turn 1? I thought everyone did EXCEPT the first player?
In 1v1 the first player doesn't draw, but in multiplayer they do
@@dougfile6644 ahhh.. cool. Didn’t know that.
not seeing pirate combo link...
Sorry about that! I've updated the description and here it is for good measure: ua-cam.com/video/6wn2QCPALkI/v-deo.html
Why is there only 360p and 1080 premium? Makes the video unwatchable
the decklist for the Malcom/Kediss deck only has 99 cards. what is the 100th card?
well 99, and 100 should be the commanders
@@3kojimbles895 nope. On moxfield it includes the commanders in the count. There are only 99 cards on that list.
@@OtterNoises27 then that's wack, add an island
Speed is Key ;)
Inalla is the Goat haven't watched yet so idk if it won but inalla simp here
Bad news for you . . .
Well excuse me princess, he only was able to deal 55 damage, not his library minus one (89 damage) to each opponent.
Fun game uh
I had to replay the buckaneer loop like 20 times till I got. What he was doing
If you wanna learn more we've got a full explanation video right here ua-cam.com/video/6wn2QCPALkI/v-deo.html
ez claps, never didnt have it. Great game!
How come in Jerry's decklist for breya it says 2 on Brainstorm? I thought commander was a single format.
Was just at typo in his list - the extra card is Brain Freeze. He's updated the list now!
#teamJerry
Just sayin, he attack one player with both pirate, he makes just one treasure, he has mana to make it anyway.
I hope Jim realises cloudstone curio says non-artifact permanent.
just wow lol
The Jets?!?! Boo!!!
What do ya mean boo?! We're actually finally doing good!
cEDH seems fun? nothing against the group, good video
