With that paint job chipping off, it gives it that lived in look which I love. But I definitely agree while you're in a crowded environment greater retention levels are a must.

Got a brand new lvl 3 t series on eBay for thirty bucks. Thought I was going to get scammed but holy cow if a brand new in the box didn’t show up at my doorstep four days later. I love it and definitely adding a leg strap
This was my duty holster for about 2 years for a g21 with a tlr 1 on it. That is until I had to chase someone over a hill and we both went down. I landed on my ass and my holster hit 1st, sheared the head off of one of the two screws that tighten the belt loops onto the duty belt. Kept the gun safe though.
thats crazy! it must have been a faulty screw, I would think the plastic would snap before metal popped like that. Thanks for the first hand knowledge and for your willingness to serve 🇺🇸
@@poortac5568 that's what I thought too. It looked like that until I pulled it apart and each side had a part of the screw in it.

I rocked the Epoch for 2½ years about abused the shit out of it and eventually the hood mechanism broke and no longer would open, I emailed blackhawk 4 times over 2 months and they never responded. They clearly don't stand by their products, so I decided to go with the top best holster company(Safariland) and bought a 7360 7TS Lvl3 holster and I haven't looked back. It beats the Epoch in every way, has no gun wobble at all like the epoch does. The Epoch is a good holster don't get me wrong but man the 7360 its sooooo far superior.
I would agree that the Safariland is better. Good to know about Blackhawks customer service. Thanks for watching 🇺🇸

Have you tried this holster on a safariland drop flex with an adapter? Mine barely moves when running. The adapter is about 1/8" thick. I like the extra clearance with a plate carrier.
I use the jacket slot “drop” adapter that blackhawk makes. It what I use at work and it also clears a plate carrier well. I haven’t tried the safariland, but Im not sure if the two would fit together or not.

you will have to see if they make a model that fits your gun. I dont think they do, based on their website.
Will this work with a strike 80 with a TLR 1hl ?
it should work with any glock copy gun 👍

I mean, experience with a holster is 90% of a review. I don’t do “unboxing” videos and hate videos that do. I want to watch a video from someone who uses their gear. I dont care what people buy, I just share what I use. I would advise people to buy the new alien gear rapid force over this holster. better for red optics ready pistols. Thanks for watching.🇺🇸

I have that exact same holster but it's for a Glock 21 and if you happen to have a Glock slide that has the serrations at the front it's not going to work.. you know those two ribs that go down along the sides on the holster?.. they will catch on the front serrations you have to use a file to take off material or the weapon will get stuck.
@@thomaspavelko9412 The slide serrations on a gen 5 glock are the same width as glock without serrations. it may be the .45 caliber glocks as a whole, since they are wider. good to know 👍
