Is very easy to use the original shifter. One good ideea it will be when Sram will produce a wireless remote with 3 buttons : 2 for shifting and one for dropper post reverb. That's a smart ideea !
@@GCPerformance18 , i already ask Sram staff what is with the third button from the back of the Gx Axs remote and they told me that is not a button. The remote has just 2 buttons. Why not three ??? My Scott strike eride 930 emtb has the twin lock remote on the left side who actuate the rear shock and the front suspension in the same time and because of that i don't know where i will instal my axs dropper remote. Is a weird situation.
Call me an oddball but I got too used to the new style paddle. Also like you said I'd have to file down the rocker paddle to clear my grips all this for a problem I didn't have. Thanks for the how to install vid.
Just installed and tested, and didn't like the feeling. It is bigger, harder to push and for me it doesn't give more confort to the shifter. I think is better to get to the original one, and change your mind about how do you up an down the gears. Sometimes , trending is not the best for someone...😅😅😅. Great video
Can you use this wireless shifter and program it to run a 2x front derailleur in addition to running the rear derailleur? I would like to see if you can do this on a flatbar fitness/road bike?
I installed mine today. Not sure if I’ll keep it on. There’s a lot of wiggle in up shift direction and the paddle takes a lot more space from my hand than the original did.
They’re an across the board ergonomic fail. It sucks that I can switch easily between sram and shimano mechanical without thinking but I’ve been riding AXS for two months now and I still shift like a baboon on meth.
Installed today and i feel some play on the bottom button, seems like you have it as well? I cant figure out how to avoid it, seems to be "normal" but not optimal...
Very Nice Vid! This may be a bit to ask, but can you do a review of Hope Brakes Hope Tech 3 E4 Hope Tech 3 X2 You may not have any, but I thought I may ask anyways. There isn't a proper one on UA-cam
Here’s my review of Hope Texh 3 E4’s as I upgraded to them on my SC Megatower. They are unreal!!! The stopping power is top notch. They look amazing. Brake levers are so solid. The 203mm rotors are have the ultimate stopping power. 4.8 out of 5.
@@GCPerformance18 They are clearly missing an opportunity here. There are people who'd pay 1000+ for it I'm sure. Just look at how much people are paying for their "top end" groupsets.
Dude. Straight to the point. I love it! UA-cam needs more legends like you.
hahah thank you my friend!!!

That is very smart, I think they might change that coming up soon

Thank you!!! Yea if your use to the old one. It might not be something you like
We installed one for a customer and found that the spring interferes with function. We moved it to the other button and the shifter works properly.

they make a system that can work with it, you would have to get a blip system or something to connect to the front der

yea they all have thta ton of wiggle I have no idea why

I think SRAM rushed production of these paddles. I took mine off and went back to stock. The amount of wiggle bothered the heck out of me.
@@GokkunGuru i'll buy yours if you don't want it!

“ easy to install, all you need is a 3mm tool, screwdriver, and 12oz Red Bull “ 😂
lmfao maybe a 24oz to get through the day
Can you make videos of you building bikes? :)
im working on it :) I just need the time and also some one to film me doing it lol
@@GCPerformance18 You can use a GoPro head strap which would give a POV of you building it.
Hello , is it compatible with GX AXS shifter too ?
Yes it is :)
Nice quick "how to" thx.
thanks so much I am glad you enjoyed
I'm guessing that thing is (at least) 1000usd?
lmaooo actually no its only 20 dollars

Where can you buy this?
Search it on Google. Or on my website bicyclegeneration.bike
That ringtone reminds me of my iPone 3GS😅
lmao, I havnt changed it since my iphone 4, anything else jsut sounds weird to me
Why do you use such gloves for this work?🤔
wth is this
its a replacement for a paddle shifter to make the axs shifter feel more like a regular shifter so it is more comfortable and easier to get use too
