I got hired and I'm pretty nervous about starting. But the only thing I'm worried about is how easily I'll get bored because how can people do the same thing over and over again without feeling so burnt out 😭
did you get hired on the spot or was there an interview? and if so what questions did they ask

Lmaoooo trust me I get it 😭 but tbh I started getting bored and annoyed at the end of my second year working there. To be honest though if you have a litt crew that will help speed up the time. I've made so many friends at wendys
Seeing the quality of the food and walk-in ingredients, after working in a kitchen for a sit down restaurant, makes me wanna cry that I’m going to an interview for Wendy’s in a few days 😂🥲

@@cristofmable3835 i had to ask i make $16 bc it’s part of a truck stop but it’s not very hard but customers are way nicer if you just ask like how are you and stuff first lol but they haven’t really trained me i have to ask to do stuff bc if not i literally could stand around the whole time doing nothing

My first one. (Second job, first one was spirit halloween back in 2022) but ive applied to sp many places trying to find a job and for 2 YEARS i never heard back but finally i got a call for an interview and i got the job!! Its at long john silver's

So i got hired and im very nervous about the window.. and figuring out what food goes in what bag cuz last time i worked at fast food they didn't really train me and i was so confused by everything and i quit. I really dont wanna give up. And tips on how to read everything on the screen or putting food in the bags..

I work at Wendy’s now and this is pretty much what I do last week I did fry’s!
I also work in fast food. Are you a team leader or a manager? Because you seem to know plenty and multiple positions and where things go. Respect.

I see that your fry station is different from the one at my Wendy’s. My Wendy’s has the “hold time buttons”. I didn’t see any hold time buttons on your fry station. And my Wendy’s doesn’t have that type of grill for the grill chicken. Your grill is better than ours. Lol
Thank youu!! & Oh yeah it might just be a little different. Our hold time buttons are at the top over the fries. We also just renovated and change everything so that is our new grill.
I have my interview tomorrow and I'm hoping I'll get the job and this video really gave me the idea of what I might have to do and I mean I see people all the time at this Wendy's near my house I've gone there since middle school I'm really hoping the interview goes well I know that my Wendy's is just asking your name, email, phone number, availability and hours.
I put applications in at mcdonalds and wendys i have interviews at both soon hella nervous bc its gon be my first job at 17 but hoping for wendys its closer

Does the hourly pay rate vary on the state? If you don’t mind me asking how much did you start off getting paid hourly ?
yes it does, minimum wage is different in every state
my mom is starting the process of signing me up but i’m so scared, i really just rather clean the tables or anything 😂
Haha don't be scared it's not too bad 😭. Plus during your first months they won't have you working on everything at once, you learn over time. Let me know how it goes!

And could you turn the music down just a little bit lower ? You can still have the music, but just turn it down a little lower please.
I sped up the entire video to save some time, so the fry part actually is around 10 minutes, just slow down the speed.
how long is your shift. i wanted to try working at fast food but terrible memory remembering peoples orders. is it easy
I'm oretty sure they go in a computer as u take them :) u don't have to memorize them off the top of ur head

Todays my 3 day on the cash register and I’m getting confused on the bagging, do you have any advice?
Yes! So they changed the bagging technique like a month ago so it’s easier to some and more difficult to others. The way I like to bag is starting from the bottom of the screen then make my way up. So I will add how many sauces it says first, then I will count how many drinks and frostys there are and add that amount in straws or spoons, then next I count the amount of nuggets and fries and put them all in the same bag. Last think I do is pack the sandwiches in a separate bag. As I go I always add napkins and whatever necessary utensils. I hope that helps! Let me know ❤️

My only promblem is I’m shy and I don’t like when people take advantage of that or try to make it seem like I’m slow or sun 😭my first time working in fast food

Do you work morning shifts? If so what time do morning shifts start because I applied to morning shift for the summer 😅 and I dont knew what time times I can choose.
Yea I usually start around 10, but the store opens at like 6. The earliest they will probably have you come is like 8:00 am
I got an interview tm what should I do first? If they hire me what’s best position
I would say taking cash at the back window if you want something easy, if not that then fries or grill. I would avoid sandwiches, bagging or working the dining room area as a beginner (because it’s a lot more pressure). Fries can be a lot of pressure too when it’s really busy.

Ok in this video at least it shows how she puts and fill them fries up but every time i go to McDonald's or jack in the box they dont fill it up

How much is the payment ?
I started off at $10 as a minor & now I make 12.50 at age 21 working day shift. My next raise will probably be $13 or 13.50. If you work night shift you will make more.
