- One of the most interesting races Verra will have to offer us upon launch is The Tulnar. A mix of all of the races combined, the ancestry of The Tulnar will undoubtedly be full of intrigue, conflict, and struggle. On the latest AMA from Intrepid, Steven dropped some serious bombs about the race, how they live, and what they've accomplished after years in the Underrealm. We at LoreForged hope you enjoy this speculative deep-dive on the amazing Verran race!

Tulnar or Tiki-Dwarf….I still can’t decide! Great video. You found some truly hideous faces there Kash.😂
Thanks Spinny!
Haha! Thanks for watching Spin!
Love this! Really want some more Tulnar love from development updates 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much for watching our video and commenting! We want more Tulane love too!
I’m sure we’ll get it! Thanks for watching!
@@KashQuests I mean, they are a decent team, but I am more of a Sooners fan myself… 😉🥰
@@Cimarb LoL I believe I am a victim of the dreaded auto-correct 🤣🤣
A face only a mama can love LoL
Yeah that little f*cker was ugly, right?
Love you guys and great content :). Your voice is also great for narration, Kash :D Was really easy to listen to.
Thank you Lloyd! Really appreciate you watching the video! Keep up the great work bro. I’m definitely a fan 👍
Thanks so much Lloyd! We love your new podcast!
I really loved some of the pictures in this video.
I usually dont care about lore but loreforged vids are just so attention grabbing!
good work
Glad you like them!
Top notch as always!
Thank you Dr. Burns!!! Can we still call you Burnsie? 🤣
I was always under the assumption that there would be a metro size city underground, lest it render that part of Vera much less valuable to players other than those interested in the RP aspects of it.. As for why they started fighting with one another: the more time you spend with the same people, the more likely you will eventually get sick of every little thing about them. Just ask my wife :) Every society going back to the beginning of time starts off in smaller groups/tribes/etc. until certain ones grow larger, more predominant than the others to become the overriding culture in general. As the Tulnar started much....much...later than the other ancient races, it would make sense that they would be earlier on in that process than the rest. The draw of the underground is tearing at me for sure. I am absolutely going to be a reptilian Tulnar Cleric (secondary TBD based on A2), but I am extremely torn between the underground and a region by either the ocean or some other body of water. I really hope we get some good looks at the underground at some point during A2. I look forward to what the LoreForged crew find during their explorations!!
Great comments! You could have nailed it! People do tend to just get irritated with each other, lol! My bet in how the underground actually is - AMAZING. Just the bits of concept art we’ve seen makes me confident it will be awesome. Thank you so much for watching our video!
Totally understand that! The lure to being on a Node that’s by the water is incredibly appealing!
Thank you Kash and LoreForged!
Thank YOU for watching our stuff Wasabi! You're one of the reasons we keep pushing forward!
Great video!
Thank you Sir! We really appreciate you watching and commenting!
I totally wanna make a Lizard Tulnar Wizard/Summoner dual class eager to study the developments of the world after the return of all the other races and how the world is going after his studies of the apocalypse.
Now THAT sounds fun!
"Life, uh, finds a way."
I dislike the use of AI art (like everything looks great but I'm an artist so I'm conflicted) but otherwise this was a fun video reviewing all we know! Thank you!
love me some Goldblum
Who’s putting together all this generative art? 10/10 usage 🤟🏻
Thank you BigQuads! We’re all using the magic of AI 😊
What Kash said! Thanks for watching!
I want to see this underrealm metropolis as a large hunting ground
That would be amazing. Crazy glowing underground creatures! Thank you for watching our video!
Wish Dwarves had been a more subterranean race; thats such a commonly undeveloped theme and almost never matters.
It’s all how you RP your Dwarf! The cave systems in the mountains certainly go underground! No cave race like the dwarves!!!
This reminds me of the Dark Iron Dwarves from Warcraft. I’m sure we’ll see a great amount of lore with the Dünir and their mountain dwellings!
Methinks I'm going to be a Tulnar at launch. I always have a soft spot for the underdogs and what's more "underdog" than the race from the Underrealm?
Exactly! Plus the Tulnar look BADASS! Thank you for watching our stuff and commenting!
Wish they would release more Tulnar art. I can't help but think they've had massive revisions to how they look and I fear they might dumb them down for the models to fit better with armor. Given the huge amount of secrecy and time passed I'm going to put the bar way up high for their customization and hope they haven't given up on ears, horns, spikes, tails, and reverse knee Tulnar. Heck given the Underrealm maybe even give bioluminescent cosmetic options as well. Really hope they don't smash their faces in to fit in helmets especially the reptile Tulnar.
They’re gonna nail it. I just hope it looks like some of my AI art!
@@KashQuests Hope so. Worst case there are still Genghis Kahn Orcs and Chia Pet Elves.
Their reveal is going to be a major one! Thanks for watching!
You're missing the minor races... the Tulnar are ALSO mixed with ALL the minor races of Verra, including the minotaur and all the other minor races. That's why they're so diverse in appearance and constantly struggling with each other. Some more monster than civilized, some more civilized than others. Extremely Diverse ;) Dive Deeper ;)
Thanks Penumbra.
Thanks Pen! We by no means know it all and we’ll make mistakes, but we do our best to create the best content we can. Thanks for watching!
It would definitely be hard to pass this option up during character creation 🤔
Yeah, there’s going to be some hard choices
Kind of lore breaking for players to be able to pick any starting zone isnt it? I get people want to play from day 1 with friends but im in the keep em seperated camp! Let the races have their own starting zones and the tulnar start in their own as they didnt come through any portals to get to verra.
I wonder if the tulnar with be ready by launch. It would be kool for the first big DLC to introduce the tulnar. If their all underground and werent able to get out then a world changing event happens with all of the other races coming through portals that opens up cave like entrances and exits for the Tulnar to come topside and be playable.
I'd be fine with that! Old school MMO feels with races starting in their own areas. But coming through the portals, the races would be all over the place. Except of course, for the Tulnar. Thank you for watching our stuff!
Great video!
Thank you very much for watching!!!!
Thanks!
