The shape of your soft pallet also change depending on which language you grow up using most which is where you get accents from.
With years of practice (by myself), I was not singing bad but not great either, but for a year now I noticed my voice got better, more powerful, I can keep the note much longer, even noticing some nice falsetto sometimes, and a deep voice. I still need lessons with a teacher to learn tools to improve.
"You know what's up Despacito boy" HAHAHA I CAN'T. But really, AleXa sings so well in spanish tho.
now i’m all emotional that next episode will be the last (for now) :( i love this show so much it has become my comfort zone and i truly look forward to new episode each week. @@Stellassounds man I thought this was like one of their permanent shows but I guess not. Well all good things have to come to an end. The only thing that made me feel a bit better was Jae appending “for the foreseeable future” so perhaps they can come back sometime...? This show along with the Daebak show and Get Real felt like the permanent backbone of Dive Studios since Dive has had like surprise long-ish term guest podcast sessions with other people. Now I’m starting to worry when Get Real might end 🥺😢😭😥And Jae has never made an appearance on there (loved AleXa’s episode with them!) so I feel a bit cheated out of that. Of course even if HDIGH ends, Jae can still guest on there but it would have been fun to have some of the Get Real cast on HDIGH too. And after Jae had to stop Twitch, this was like his only outside outlet. I’ll definitely miss their interactions together 😭 but at least AleXa has her own UA-cam channel to post some personal-ish content and I think she mentioned radio too right? But Jae only posts his eaJ videos on his channel. Wonder what they have planned for this time slot(?) I’m so sad now 😢

17:00 I really get what Alex is talking about, like I don't sing but I normal naturally talk in a lower register and it causes a lot of stress on my vocal cords and after a while of conversation it become kind of difficult to talk, I've also noticed its a lot easier for people to understand me when I talk in the higher almost like head voice when I have a mask

This episode topic is so good! I actually studied singing for quite a few years. I must say I've been told not to eat chocolate before singing as it isn't good for your voice. Don't know if it's true or not though.
