She beat Sha'Carri in the 100m semi-final, but when the final came, Sha'Carri was able to dig deep and beat her (and set a championship record in the process). If I'm going to count on someone to be able to beat Sha'Carri this year, it's gonna have to be Elaine for me.
I think in the 100M race, Brianna, TaLou, Oliver, Dina, etc. keep up with Shelly well…often TaLou can get an even better start than Shelly. But the only two folks on whom we can usually rely are Shelly and Brianna…I understand your point.
A few 60m can't hurt unless the coaching decides it's not best for putting her in her best 100m/200m condition for the Olympics. Of course her fans will love to see it.

What I don’t understand is Jamaica treated Elaine Thompson Hera like shit in 2023 nobody wanted to coach her matter fact nobody want to do anything with her but maybe one or two people but now that Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce will be retiring in 2024 after the Olympics hopefully I hope she can stay longer, but now they see they have no runners really for the 2024 you have Sharika Jackson but she cannot be Elaine Thompson Hara in the 100 m and then you have the younger ones coming up but they never run Olympics and they cannot beat Sharika Jackson Sharika Jackson can run but she has no guarantees except in the 200 m now she got that. Maybe just maybe now that you only have a Elaine Thompson Herah that is a guaranteed runner. I hope now Jamaica will treat her a lot better and treat her like she is somebody. I will miss Shelly Ann, Fraser Pryce, because that was the girl Minnie blessings to Shelly Ann Fraser, Pryce and Elaine Thompson Hera.
