This is it. I needed to see this so badly today. As a musician, this is the stuff I need to see more of. It’s very practical and helpful to watch in this level of detail but also, to know I’m not alone in the relentless struggle, helps keep me going. So many good tips here. BBL need to practice. Thank you Daniel. ❤
Hi Daniel it's good to see that you're learning it like all the rest of us mortals. But you should try the app any tune. It's mainly for the ipad. But you can slow down a phrase down to below 50% and once you activate phrase trainer it will Loop that phrase over and over again and each time it will increase the speed by 10%. You should definitely check out anything
Excellent! Yes, you do have a good ear and able to play or transcribe at normal speed Remarkable and it demonstrates the hard work involved in making music for others to enjoy My basic method to learn song or solo is to learn melody, then chords and other structural elements Ah, Guitar Pro I'm looking for another program Was thinking Pro Tools I'll check it out the Guitar Pro Thank you
Hi Daniel, if we put aside how amazing and generous you are.. I would like to ask you about your 335.. Can you give some details? I remember you said once that you changed the pickups.. is that right? If so, can I have some details on that? Thanks so much!
Thanks for the kind words, Gil. I am very happy to have you here and always enjoy reading your encouraging comments. My ES-335 has the regular stock pickups. I've had it refretted, changed the nut, and installed locking tuners, but everything else is the same always maintaining it (like a nice setup every year, re-fretting every 5'ish yrs etc) I like that guitar a lot. Recently, two companies approached me and are sending me some guitars that I can't wait to try, ill post about it I've never been the type to have lots of guitars, but people have been sending me things to try out, and I recently discovered that it's hard to explain a connection to an instrument. To be honest, I've played $1,000 guitars that I liked MUCH better than $5,000 or $8,000 guitars. I've been thinking about getting a Les Paul recently, as I played one a week ago. It was a cheap one with replaced pickups, but I was blown away by how easy it was to play and how much fun I had with it. so yea we are lucky to be playing this wonderful instrument, its really something
Thank you so much..
Here's me slowing down Miles' Solar solo and you're not even slowing down Brecker on Giant Steps. Beast!
You're great
Thanks for tuning in : )

Which software are you using ?
Thanks for the videos !
Hi :-) In this video, I used Guitar Pro newest version to sync notation with audio, which helps in the transcription process
