Yep, I bought the Sephora 47 cause it was very similar to this one by Nikki that everyone loves and I just cannot get used to a skinny foundation brush. I don't like feeling like I'm painting the foundation on myself. I like patting.
After watching to the end, I like the wing eyeliner on you although there are probably easier ways to achieve the look. Maybe it's the camera but the upper lid shade looks a tad orange on you. I'm paler than you and have a hard time finding a color for the "hood." Isn't aging a gas😂 All in all you look great. Now do this before work every morning (just kidding.)BTW, you are killing it on IG lately!

I have most Sonia G, Rephr brushes and some Wayne Goss brushes (100s in total), I don't need more but I'm looking for unique ones. I might get the concealer brush for nose contour, I like the big brushes for concealer (like the Sigma F8 or BK 110) but need a tiny smoother closer to the lash line. Nevertheless, I have always felt BK brushes are over priced. Although I pick up must haves like the foundation brushes & most of Angie (I bought them individually). I really appreciate your honesty!! Thank you 🤍
Btw... I do not like the Haus foundation at all!! Besides the impossible shade match as a light cool tone (tried 4 shades) I don't like the way it sits on my skin. This is the first time after months I've heard anyone admit they don't like it. It's hard enough being cool-toned much less not liking a hugely popular formula 🥴
I'm so glad you found it helpful! I do like a lot of BK brushes and use them routinely, but I usually try to wait for a sale. I prefer natural hair for most powder products.
Hey Girl you are a Doctor (Juris) so you ARE a pro😂 I'm taking a hard pass on this as I already have some Angie Hot, etc. from BK Beauty. I also like the eye brushes from Singe best. I have smaller hooded eyes and they just fit well. I am on the lookout for a powder brush for someone who has bone dry skin and uses just a tad of powder. I do not like ELF, Sigma or other drugstore brushes. Any ideas??? THX for all your hard work! Happy Thanksgiving.
If only a law degree cost $180. 🤣 I haven't tried Singe brushes, but I trust Angie to make an excellent product. Have you looked into the BK powder brushes? I think the more tapered brushes would give you more of a dusting of powder. The Rephr 25 or 30 might also work for you, but I haven't tried those myself. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!
how do you compare between BK beauty and Hourglass brushes? What do you recommend cream blush brush for small faces and highlighter brush (I have exact same highlighter bomb from Fenty Beauty)? Thank you!
I've only tried a few of the limited edition Hourglass brushes (I use them in my review of the holiday palettes), so it's hard to say. In general, BK has a much better price point. I like the BK A507 for cream bush (the BK 109 is also good) and the Anastasia A23 brush for highlighter. ☺
@@lilnitemakeup I owe many hourglass but I haven't tried any of BK beauty. They currently have Blackfriday sale so I am not sure which ones worth getting

A paddle foundation brush is a very old-school makeup artist tool - I definitely prefer newer styles myself!
