Would LOVE to hrer rereleases of other old songs too... @Scoot... if you ever read this.... THis does not mean your voice is past.... still was and is great as well.. This one is just suitable too. Never thought it would be like this.
The new lineup really sounds great. A modern sound but still maintaining that classic Whitecross vibe. Not gonna lie - though I am a big fan of the original lineup, I really like Dave's voice.

Scott Wenzel was always a great frontman as lead singer for Whitecross, but this new singer Dave Roberts, is awesome too, I think it would be time for a new record, I would be happy, I like to hear Rex Carroll play with the other guys guys Benny Ramos on bass and Michael Feighan on drums, to hard to know that it is this year already 10 years ago that I saw them live in concert 2 times, here in The Netherlands, and a day later in Germany.

Can anyone tell me where Scott went? I mean I’m not surprised if he’s ready to retire from singing, but I can’t even find any info on how this lineup change came about...and Scott’s been the heart of the band for so long...just like to know where he is or what he’s doing now. Thanks👍
LOVE Dave's voice reminds me of DIO, only better. This band just flat out RAWKS!!!! Even secular reviewers rave about them. Jesus is the ROCK so ROCK ON !!! oooops, did I hear a little bit of EVH in there?
Sorry but the vocals' timing is off, I am certain the band knows. In the studio they would nudge a bunch to make the vocals hold the groove. It is not just hitting the notes. To be fair, that sometimes happened to Scott live as well based on the footage they put out, but not as much and his tone made up for most of it. Best wishes to the band, God knows Rex was my favorite guitarist back in the day. But they never topped Triumphant Return, that was a masterpiece. When I want to hear WC, that is the record I go for.
Last I heard Scott was living in Nashville, a friend of mine bumped into him at church one Sunday. As long as he's happy and he's well, that's all that matters at the end of the day.
When you have an very distinct vocalist like Whitecross to replace him with someone who doesn't sound similar it totally changes the sound of the band. Very few bands can pull it off. IMO this is WhiteCross music with a different vocalist. I'm not feeling it. Similar feeling to Saint switching vocalists. I wish them all the best regardless.
What about all the different versions with different drummers and bass players, then? Which one do you pick? Or was Scott the only member that mattered? Did you ever hear the Guardian + Whitecross project? With members of both bands doing songs from both? Just enjoy the music and don't make comparisons that nothing can come out of.
