Hi hiprockdiva1. The stores bypass Halloween decorations and go straight to Christmas, lol. I’ll make sure to film the mall at SM Aura so you can see some of their Christmas decorations for next week’s grocery haul. See you then!
I make really good spam musubi. Fry spam and remove from the pan. Cook a small amount of teriyaki sauce on low heat on the same pan. It should thicken. Put the spam back on pan making sure it's coated with thickened teriyaki sauce on both sides. I sprinkle furikake or rice seasoning for added flavor. Perfect time to use those rice seasonings you bought from donki. Just use one variety of furikake per musubi. It's very flavorful so make sure you only sprinkle a thin layer. This is how I layer: Rice, furikake, spam. Make sure the rice layer is not so thick. Sometimes when I eat it as a meal by itself, my layers goes : rice, furikake, spam, furikake, rice. I make it like a sandwich. Making spam musubi is fun. Ask your kids to help.
Yes!! Me too, I cook a great Musubi too, very much like how YOU make it. In the Yaeyama Islands I tried Tamago Pork Musubi, which looks more like you're making a magazine (with the rice and seaweed folded right over the top of the spam, tamagoyaki and other fillings, almost like a sandwich I guess). Sweet grated carrot pickles, cheese, tofu...the list goes on, mmm! My 'top tip' for people wanting to upgrade their musubi method from the way both you and I make it is to look for sweet miso paste to spread over the rice before adding the Spam. Look for speciality miso, the small batch stuff sold in fancy delis and grocery stores that stocks regional Japanese produce that's hard to find elsewhere. Yum. Mixing miso and honey together just doesn't work the same, there's something magic about these particular types of condiments. Your comment made me so hungry Mrs Morris, haha. 😆😋
I love your channel. I watch your videos when painting my nails in the sunny living room, when eating my breakfast before work or whilst sitting in the kitchen cooking, keeping one eye on the stove, hahaa! I'm eagerly waiting for your Ginza Donki haul, when will you be posting that? 😃⏲📺🙏
❤ your vlogs. Btw, I can't wait to see both Halloween decorations and Christmas together. I love both Halloween and Christmas ❤

Thank you for your suggestions. I’m not much of a cook but I’m willing to learn.
