you should set your java_home path first,
using the command,
set JAVA_HOME="ur jdk path"

Hi Kaushik is it like we need a 32 bit jdk even if your OS is of 64 bit for the STS?
Because STS could not start up with 64 bit jdk and worked well with 32 bit jdk.
Please correct me.
