I'm 24 and getting married in October and recovering in bed watching BTR on Netflix while my fiancé is at work. My fiancé knows I still love them and doesn't judge me for it since they helped me through really rough times, especially Kendall. He made me feel so good about myself when he waved and smiled really big at me in concert. This was during a time I was struggling with confidence and self love and finding out who I was since I was still only 14, but becoming more of an adult as the next year I'd be going into high school. Kendall made me feel so special, so seen, so beautiful when no boys my age would even say hi to me. The next year in high school was pure hell for me. I sat all alone at lunchtime crying and listening to BTR with my ipod and headphones in. I had no friends, truly just wanted to kill myself and my mom would write me notes in my lunch to remind me that Kendall saw potential in me and not to let him down, because he knew who I'd grow up to be. Tears me up to this day, because Kendall doesn't even know how his smiling and waving to me impacted my life. He saved my life. Would love to tell him this someday. It's perfectly okay to be 21 and love BTR. They will forever hold a special place in my heart for how they helped me in my darkest hours by laughing, being seen, the lyrics of their songs, etc. Kendall's song "Cover Girl" helped me to learn how to love myself.❤️❤️.
