    I love love love your videos!!! I have a bridal shop but mostly sell prom dresses. I have a lot of unsold ballgowns (tulle skirt) from past seasons. I would love to know how to convert an adult size bust to a child size. I think the styles would look cute converted to a little girls flower girl dress. Can you please show how to do it!! Thanks!!

    Bravo! This short video is informative. The diagrams are very helpful. Since you are prepping for a try on, what stitch length are you using? When would you baste by hand?

      2.5 & a fresh needle. I usually machine sew for try-ons.

    Having designed and sewn a ton of corsets and - dresses in the 80’s and 90’s I often don’t understand the design of some dresses esp the ones of a higher price point. Why make the pattern with such a pointed apex on a wedding dress?? 😱

    How did you transfer your markings to keep this accurate and consistent? Thank you so much

    • @BridalSewing
      @BridalSewing  10 місяців тому

      I use visual memory.
      If that's not your thing, you can draw up a template piece on paper and use it for each seam.

      Some of these patterns may be holdovers from the 50s when the bullet bra was in style?
