this was awesome...going to play with these after current projects are in the bag. I haven't been updating my adobe's lately because im in the middle of a lot of test images/layouts on new hardware )monitor) and am trying to get a baseline before i start messing with adobe's updates an eventual bugs with these point releases.
That`s the class! Very good and clear explanation. I wish that you make more videos for deeply understanding some tools in Lr. Actually I know sooo much, I am old user ovf Lr, but allways I want to know more on the higher level. And your class is exactly that. 😀😀😀
Great video as always, Greg. Seeing your solarization demonstration made me think about whether using that approach in Photoshop would give me easier access to the HSV color space over HSL. (It probably doesn't! But it sent my squirrelly brain off on a tangent.) I've been learning a few tricks from film colorists. Figuring out a simple method for dipping into HSV for a layer or two during my photo color grading preoccupies me. At the moment, I've got 3D LUT Creator and that does the trick, but I'm always on the lookout for redundant approaches.
@@gregbenzphotography That's the unfortunate solution that keeps me using 3D LUT for the moment. I gather that Affinity allows nondestructive use of HSB, but the pile of reasons to switch isn't quite high enough yet,
Thank you so much Greg! This has been wildly helpful, I really appreciate how concisely your shared this.
Great feature! Thanks Greg!
Excellent post!
Awesome tutorial as always! Thank you so much Greg! Good luck!
Thank you!
Great. I was suffering from this Saturation increase when increasing contrast. Great lesson. Thank you.
Very helpful, thank you.
Excellent! Thanks!

I've been using it for a while and found it very useful and your video is an excellent summary of how to use it, thanks Greg!

What else are you hoping to understand in LR?
Excellent tutorial. Thank you.
Thanks!
Great video! I'm going to have to re-edit a bunch of photos using this technique, thanks!
Great video to show the use of that slider. Where did you get that color wheel, that is super as well
Thx Greg, good en clear explanation !
Really nice tutorial, Greg. Thank you!
Awesome video... thank you.
That's a game changer Greg! Subscribed and thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you for the great tutorial Greg! Would it be ok to ask where you got the color circle image from? I'd love to do some test on my own.
Glad you enjoyed it.
It’s one I created. I don’t generally make my images available outside of courses.
@@gregbenzphotography thanks for the info. No problem, totally understand!
Great video as always, Greg.

Yeah, I wish we had HSB options.
You can destructively convert there and back with the PS filter in a pinch.

The refine tool is not available in ACR, unfortunately
It is, just called “refine” in ACR. Make sure you are using the point curve.
Great stuff! I gotta be the one to ask though. Who aimed a strobe with a snot onto that poor model's ear? :D
lol, good question (stock image)
Hey, we finally have a place where "less is more" applies. Great video, terrible skin tone on the portrait.
