After their set, I saw Suzi Gardner walking through the side exit of the pavilion seating and ran over to tell her how awesome they were. She responded with a “that’s so sweet” and gave me a peck on the cheek. Needless to say this young 15-year-old was elated and my buddy’s jaw dropped. Great memories!

But even beeing all that, they literally kick most girl bands around in their f***ing c**ts and these amazing women are now in their late 50ties. Have you ever heard of Japanese female metal band LOVEBITES (thrash speed and power metal)??? They too are among the best of their time, but they too have a hard time getting the attention they deserve. LOVEBITES bassist Miho Rosana reminds me a lot of Jennifer Finch.

Everybody from that time remembers NBK , and everybody that remembers NBK , knows SHITLIST by heart , introducing you to evil incarnate during the first scene . Must be so dope .

Places around Perth are either Scottish names, English, or Aboriginal (e.g. Mirrabooka, Dardanup, Karrakatta, Karrinyup). You'll have to wait for any videos as L7 don't have their gig there until next week.
