@ICantPutMyBowDown for a person with enough concentration to handle them they're great and they are beautiful. But I always preferred the longer slower bows. They fit me better, easier to shoot. Right now I'm shooting what you might call antiques, old Bear Polar longbows and long bow hybrids. Plenty of reflex and with the hybrids a tad bit of recurve. Theyre slower but stable, a tad faster than a conventional Hill style bows, quiet, and no noticeable hand shock.
@@larryreese6146 I been wanting to get into some Hill style bows and shoot a bit heavier to handle my 7075 wood arrows I had made. One around 50@28 should be good. Robert Carter is the man to watch shooting that style!! Check him out, great channel!
@ICantPutMyBowDown yes. That's the man. But Shultz in that video Hitting them like Howard Hill is the best. Check it out. But it is probably a completely different style than you are shooting. I'd say stick with what works for you. First bow I learned on was a 70 pound Howard Hill and I could do pretty well on both small game and deer. But the 2 brothers I learned from were G O O D. I once watched one of them pick off birds at 20 yards. Another could powder thrown aspirin at close range. I could never do so well and at my age the heavier bows are too much. Of course those guys were short and probably didn't pull but about 26 inches.
Thanks for the content. I’m a longbow shooter but hunt with a PCH when I use a recurve. My favorite longbow is my PL with Toby grip. I have been debating on having me a PSR built.
It is a very nice bow looks great, it is definitely a big difference from the bigger heavier bows but in the same token they feel great in the hand and you can shoot a lot longer in one session. 👍🏼 🙏🏼
Jeez I like that bow, it's very longbow like and as you said it's a little finicky compared to the heavier recurve that you're used to. Don't sell this one 😅
No question about it. Black widow always made a beautiful, fast bow.
@@larryreese6146 man I always enjoy the black widows!!!

@@Traditional.Archery.Family I like mine!! I like a plx as well but these are quicker
@ great to know! That was my thoughts, I could get the riser and grip I love but with the speed of a recurve!
Always enjoy your videos.. Nice bow too
@@HawgHunter63 I appreciate it!! Wish I could get a few hunts posted but my luck this season has been down as far as seeing stuff.
@ you guys going through EHD this season? I’m in Jersey and we got hit good with it two years ago
@nah I think they may have had something north of us. I’m in North LA
