Those needle nose style pliers on top of all the tools in the beginning are great for pulling fuses love them but they also work great for push pin retainers as they are intended for. Great to see a new video from you
im a hardcore snap on guy... ive learned the differences from using other tool brands and frankly.. snap on wins every time but there are certain tools ill buy other then snap on..
Lise is a awesome company from right here in Iowa great vid man if someone says you only buy snap-on they must not really watch your channel thanks jim!!
I love lisle, that adapt a cap looks like a really hand tool. That fuzzy scraper I been meaning to get as well as the scraper without the red handles... Probably been over a year but that one tool channel that doesnt watch tool channels showed it as a matco tool, the home depot website has lisle @ awesome prices .. Be surprised what you can find on that site and even the walmart site. That banding tool would be good for securing bands on the header and pipe wrap. Good to see you Jim!
The most used tool I have from them, Lisle part # 28950. I thought about buying the WS4295 from Mac, but that little Lisle stud installer works pretty well. It is considered a consumable so I keep 3 or 4 in the box as back-ups but you can't beat it for $20.
I have a lot of Lisle tools and I would love to give you part numbers but I also need to remind you that I have been buying those tools since the early 90´s . I am from Antwerp ( Belgium ) and there we have a engine repair shop that stocks Lisle and the owner knows what tools come in handy for me so every time he thinks that I might be interested he gives me a call and puts it aside . I am now a warranty mechanic for Eastern Europe so I am Months on end away from home but he keeps them for me . Great guy and a super machinist / engine rebuilder
Great video I have a good amount of lisle tools but the best is the 44800 brake spring tool and the smaller 45100 spring tool if you do drum brakes you will love these tools. i see now you can right from lisle web site and you are right they do make good tool for older cars. You may not use a tool every day and sit in your box for months but when you need it and it does the job it's all good.🔧🔧🔧🔧
Lisle makes the best tap sockets, part numbers 70500 and 70940 .Lisle does make a pair of pliers for the evap, fuel line fittings, part number #35070.This is the next Lisle tool I will be purchasing.Lisle also makes some tools for Mac,Matco,Snap On under the Blue Point brand. One example is the fuel,a/c and oil line disconnect tool kits. There is the harmonic balancer installer kit part number 53790,I have this set and it does get used.Used it last on a 2011 5.7 hemi reinstalling the harmonic balancer.Saved my butt, this was a Jasper reman engine and didn't want to be accused hammering it on.Lisle makes the best gasket scrapers, the carbide tipped part number 81780
My favorite tools from lisle is there pneumatic fan clutch 43300 wrench sets and there radiator Funnel Kit 24680 helps you burp the system
