Back in tha day these 2 tracks were alternatly played on the boombox & the cassette tape player to the point of wearing out the tape. Lol. I spent my teenage years growing up listening to both of these awesome songs from two iconic albums Cypress Hills Black Sunday & House of Pains self titled album. Fun Fact... Dj Muggs from Cypress Hill produced created the music sample & co wrote the iyrics with Everlast. Muggs also wrote the song Check Yo Self for Ice Cube.
Tbh, I'm not sure where these ppl were at when these tracks, then "viral hits" by today's standards were released as any music we found, the radio or, MTV 👀 until we realized to read the back page of the cassette or cd a see who the artist thanks.. so if my memory serves correct, all music even the newest, gangsta rap pushed clean versions of what they put their money on to go big and distributed to every radio station and all the music TV stations, making everyone's first time hearing said song, was edited.. so, maybe ppl should comment with personal or a little firsthand knowledge of music industry history if theyr make comments as such.. that outta the way, man I was confused until I read your comment about getting just the singing.. kinda interesting hearing them on 1 song almost like a battle if you will.. hope to see more!! 🤘
If I'm the one making the mashup, I think it's fair I choose whether it's censored or not. I'm completely fine with language in songs but when I'm posting it, I prefer to upload it clean, so more people are comfortable listening. (Just like how alot of famous bands will censor the swears in their music videos) This genre is not just for Adults, and everyone should be able to listen and enjoy. If you don't like it, you can edit your own or just listen to the original. Like I said personally language doesn't bother me but I like to be mindful of others preferences. I also first made this mashup when I was about 14, I was mych more uncomfortable with editing songs with language. I have just added more to the mashup over time so there are things I cannot change and will not be changing just because of one person's preference!

I get what you're saying but, if I didn't censor it, there might be people wanting a clean version, and that would take more time than if I just uploaded it clean in the first place. Most people really don't get bothered by censored music, more people get bothered when it isn't censored, so I'm just tryna please everyone here. Also, for cypress hill, I downloaded an acapella that was already censored but I dint realise, that's why I decided to just make it clean in general. No hate btw, just tryna explain!
