  • Bible prophecy foretold that a demon-possessed Christianity would generate massive wealth for the nations by making merchandise of humans and thereby bring upon itself violent retribution. Jesus is the original non-violent protester. His death on the cross conquered the violence of both the oppressor and the oppressed.

The way this message aligns with present day reality means there MUST be a very serious judgement coming not just to racist whites, but to all those of any race, who have grown fat as a result of adhering to the mentioned mindset.

So, how does this teaching line up with this from the Bible?
Whether the Bible uses the terms “master,” “ruler,” “government,” or any other name for an established authority, the instruction is always the same - obey. We must remember that God created the authorities ruling over us just as He created us. As Paul wrote to the Romans, “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves” (Romans 13:1-2). Peter wrote, “Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right” (1 Peter 2:13-14). Both Peter and Paul also remind slaves repeatedly to be obedient to their masters for the same reasons (Ephesians 6:5-8; Colossians 3:22-25; 1 Timothy 6:1-2; 1 Peter 2:18-20; Titus 2:9-11)

Tell that to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Thank you for pointing that out! Because we are to obey God when it comes to laws he has set for us. God is the authority above earthly authorities. And the example is set for us in the book of Daniel. But when it comes to earthly matters we are to obey earthly authorities. “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.””
      ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭3:16-18‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Interesting how I hear these verses quoted during Republican administrations far more than I hear them during Democrat administrations.

Fortunately, the Bible is consistent and does not change based on administration. Sorry, but I personally don't vote for Coke, or Pepsi.

      Wow..
The Hebrews were enslaved in Egypt. It came a time for God to set them free. God works and accommodates around things that are the result of sin. It’s not His perfect will for men to be slaves to any man. There are sex slaves as well in this time. Is that right too? Remember is not God’s will for His people to treat men and women less than human. It was never His will!! The Bible is consistent yet works through history accommodating for the culture of that time. Treating people with unjustly is NEVER God’s perfect will.
8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Micah 6:8.
This is the consistency of God and His Word. God is love!!!
