The whole royal family of Fimbriaphyllia there!!!
I'm glad you guys are still making video together!!!
This channel was how I first knew about Chris and asked Keith to call him for the stream there!
Zebrasoma desjardinii is my number 1 choice for bubble algae!!!
All the best to you both, brothers! Keep growing those Acros for me, Chris!!
Next time turn ON those halides, will you? LOL!
You need to go there more often, Richard...Looking forward to part 2!
    Cheers!

I take great pride in introducing Chris to the mass. Many stores knew him ofcourse but not many hobbyists knew of him outside of people that stopped by his booth at Reef A Palooza Orlando. After speaking with him several times, I knew that I had to get him in front of the camera because he had so much to share that we can all benefit from.
I'm so happy that many people see what I see and accept/love his unwavering passion and love for the hobby. I am really, truly happy to see all the success and recognitions that he's been getting because he really deserves it.
Talking about getting there, I am going back in few weeks. ;) It's bit rough as it's 8hr drive day for me but it is what it is. My contribution for our hobby.

I am all about Taxonomy, another reason I like Chris. He isn't content with sending it along as is. He wants to know and so do I.

You can't use land based morphological principles and taxonomy on Coral. Coral taxonomy is non linear, we can't just make sense of it

That's why they are being sent to labs that does this professionally. 😀

Have to start somewhere. I feel it’s a net positive to know the genetics and create a database. It will allow better understanding of many things beyond just how something physically appears.
Though I concur that morphological analysis between terrestrial and marine organisms is very different. I still feel Chris is on the right track with genetic analysis and understanding that could help explain why some species look like A, some like B some like C and others that seem to be A,B, & C, combined. Then maybe we can better isolate species that are more tolerant to certain conditions and have a generalized description of that species physical attributes.
Sorry. It’s a YT comment and I could go on forever talking about Coral and all the related fields of study.
Nothing beats great debates and sharing of information.

@scooterglass4497 I don't mind it at all. Thanks for putting in the time and the effort for that comment. It's how I feel as well.
