"didn't like bending at the knee" SHAME. SHAAAAAME. sorry, I detest the way 'bend the knee' has become popular to use in historical discussions. I get that it was a nifty way of saying kneel in Game of Thrones that set that world apart, but it sounds so wrong when used outside of Game of Thrones, but it sounds especially wrong when used in otherwise serious conversations (like in history lessons). I hate it so much. We have so many good words we can use instead ;-; also I hope people understand that this is a lighthearted ribbing and not like some deep seated anger. its like people who hate when the word undulate is used too liberally in fiction. its just fun language stuff.
Good series, deserves more publicity,if needs be
Amazing.

Bend the knee was a common phrase long before Game of Thrones.
