I had an EAA Witness back in the day, it was really well made. It was a Tanfoglio made gun though. I guess EAA just imports stuff from different companies. I heard the Girsan Hi Powers are nice.
Thank You for doing this video. I just ordered a MC14T also sight unseen. Thanks to videos like yours and a few others I have some confidence in what it will be. I also found out the Berretta 86 is the closest that this gun replicates. However the Berretta 86 is a single stack, 8 round, It is the Rarest of all the 8 Berretta 80 series pistols. I recently saw a auction for a very pristine used 86 in its case with manual and 2- 8 round mags here in Mo that was listed for $1599.00! Another reviewer did some shooting with a Girsan MC14T who also owned a 80 series Berretta doublestack non tilting barrel 80 series 380 and its mags worked perfect with the Girsan MC14T. This is important since Girsan has no mags currently, and the Girsan guns only ship with 1 mag. (I ordered 3 Beretta mags with my Girsan) The entire barrel and slide is easily removed by removing 1 roll pin in the hinge pin collar and then sliding out the hinge pin fwiw. Some reviewers freak out because of this but I think its a small thing that is unavoidable because of the tilting barrel design. I read that the original Berretta's were a fixed splined hinge pin that was very hard to remove not sure if its true as the Berretta 86 is such a rare pistol I don't know anybody that has, or had one. Hope this helps some folks.
I found one online with a purple top end at a significant discount. I'm considering tapping the whole and collar and using an Allen set screw instead of the roll pin to make it easier to disassemble. The part has no stress and in my opinion is necessary for to take the slide off for regular cleaning.
Girsan makes a great pistol. I have the MC Regard (Beretta Centurian). its fantastic! Built on an italian beretta license, the only difference is the locking channel in the frame. its got more of an angle. Their intent is to extend the life of the locking block. All parts for a beretta fit (some with a little stoning like an Italian beretta).
I just bought the two tone like you have. I got it from Buds guns should have it in a week. Although I don’t have a weak grip and can still rack any slide I just find this firearm very interesting with the pop up barrel and needed to have one in my collection. Thanks for your review it influenced me to purchase one.
On another video the gentleman used his mags from his old Beretta 86 I guess it was and they worked fine so if you can find any mags for the Beretta 86 they should work fine
The Beretta 86 and the entire 81 series are very well made, reliable, attractive, and accurate pistols. Hopefully, Beretta will come out with this model 86 version as they did the 84. I hope they also come out in a higher capacity 32 ACP as well. The pop up barrel has many advantages. Thanks for the video.
Koba i think for my purposes cocking with the barrel up and engaging the safety and then loading the barrel makes sense. Carrying cocked and locked like a 1911 with second strike capabilities makes sense to me. Ymmv. Also one starter and one regular roll pin punch would make slide removal not a big deal. Again Ymmv and like Dirty Harry said, a mans got to know his limitations. 😁 those floor plates are out of stock right now. Meggar in Italy makes mags that fit at a good price. I found the gun with a purple barrel and slide at a significant discount online. You all black one looks bettrr in my eye but im not completely turned off with my purple one and you can pick it out easy 😂.
I think Sal P would do as good as carburetor cleaner without having to worry about your grips. I may be wrong but it seems to clean grease off of my guns. I really am unhappy about not being able to get into some of those rails in tight spaces and clean them out I think eventually this Guns going to start malfunctioning because of not being cleaned correctly and completely
What are the other reviews I watched the guy had a lot of malfunctions because the blazer brass ammo he was using was it hot enough to push the slide back with enough force to suck that casing out of there so he was getting a lot of double feeds or failure to eject so if you have those problems you might need a little hotter amm
Would like to know why the manufacture is making it for the 380acp when its a fact that more gun users want a 9mm than the 380, and the 9mm rounds are more often available in our sporting good stores.
I like this pistol. But I'll never buy another Girsan EAA. They do not back up their warranty. And their customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. Buy American.
I believe the Beretta double stack 80 series mags work.

I might have to check these out, thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas!
Maybe it'll take Beretta mags!

Beretta 84 mags are $21 at mag warehouse right now
Put safety on OR just pop up barrel when lowering hammer.
Certain Berretta mags will fit.
To get the slide off of that model it's just like a baretta tip the barrel all the way back pull back on the slide and lift up and it should come off
They don't come apart that way. Redesign.

Has anyone checked to see if Beretta Cheetah magazines will fit that?

EAA imports a lot great stuff but, like Classic Firearms and Century Arms, they are scumbags.
EAA is known for stealing extra mags from the OEM boxes and then selling them for vastly inflated prices.
What cal is it
Heard it’s hard to load the mag’s?
