Anybody who can throw a mid 400 feet IS NOT A Beginner.

For real. Beginners throw 100’ way left off the tee.

As others have said, good video. Its essentially just an In The Bag video with more discussion.
With that said, this guy is very helpful for beginners. The man is throwing Rivers like they're a -3. A lot of beginners struggle to even get the max weight River to carry straight.

I like to have a disc in every slot for when I'm throwing like crap, when I'm throwing ok, and when I'm shredding. I base my bag around my inconsistency as a player.

Had a great time building this bag. Can’t wait to test it out!

He should ditch the River and bag the Brave instead. For anyone wanting a straight to understable throwing putter: Cosmic Fury 2 is wonderful

Nobody’s out there bagging rivers. Maybe with a 50 mph tailwind.

Earlier this year i got a smaller bag, reduced it down to 3 speeds, 4 speeds, 6 speeds, 9 speeds, 11 speeds, and that one 1 speed Berg and a big boy 14 speed Rask.
It has been much easier to know what to go for at all times. I think most people need way smaller bags.

Can you give a summary of what the final bag was, with which discs covering which slots?

I’m wondering if building a bag with understable, stable, and overstable discs can be done with the same mold(s) in different plastics. For example, I’ve seen a video that tested discs from the same manufacturer in different plastics, from base to premium. Base tended to be understable and premium tended to be overstable. Do you think this strategy can work to build a good bag?

It does work, especially if you buy stable discs and beat them in. But running the entire category (mids) like that won't work all that well for you.
I recommend finding a neutral disc you like such as the Buzz or Hex and then playing around in one manufacturers space. For instance, if you like the hex from MVP, the Detour is slightly flippier. The Uplink is even more flippy and realibably so. Then the Paradox is just a flip monster. What's great about this is all of these discs feel the same in the hand. They're all roughly the same depth and rim size. Thus, even if you haven't thrown that disc today, you've throw a disc like it and it feels great in the hand.
Disccraft with their Buzz has the Buzz OS and Buzz SS to fill out the surrounding spots. Over time, the Buzz SS will get to be very flippy if you beat it in. So pick it up in base plastic.

As someone who hunted for a great understable putter for lower arm speeds, I've found the MVP Spin and Prodigy PA-5 are perfect.
I prefer the handfeel of the PA-5 so I bag it.
