If u talked to the equipment vendor on the sea dog tavern he talks about being visited by the servant of flame. Might be significant

When season 6 came out, The first thing I did was to rush to the sea dog tavern to find out what happened. Its good that Rare did not Forget to update the place. Wish they would let us in for nostalgia tho.
I have a feeling they might, for some kind of investigation at some point.
Really wish they would update all the dialogue pertaining to characters and events that are changing.
You go down to The hideout and talk to the pirate lord he's not going to mention any of what's going on whatsoever he says exactly the same thing as he said the first day that the game came out
Thats wrong. Pirate Lord's dialouge changed twice. First one was a long time ago but the second one started in season 6. He does not talk about his children building arena as their home now.

@@magicpyroninja I did check and they changed the dialogue for ramsay, as @Eren Bacanak says, he used to talk about his children having built and arena and whatnot, now he doesn't mention them anymore.
I cant express how much I want this to happen, give us a true PvP faction. I dont want to chase reapers anymore
unfortunately we still will have to, but i cant wait to start up and on the map i sea another ship marked up with the sea dog flags flying waiting for the fight
I agree. One that isn't loot based, but you get coins from kills, ship sinks and cannon ball hits like silver from arena.

Amaranta’s real Beef wasn’t that she though fighting should really be done outside of the arena but that only the best should compete. Her quote “The question is, are YOU worthy of the Arena?
When I'M in charge of the Sea Dogs, things will be VERY different.
Only the BEST will be allowed to compete!
EVERYONE else can go back to finding spotted pigs for the Merchant Alliance.” Amaranta was very elitist and wanted to win at any cost while Demarco wanted to foster friendly competition.
And to think that I didn't even see it coming...
I wish they just took the sea dogs and make it a faction within adventure mode. It would be a good and fun reason to go out and take on other crews. Looking forward to seeing that they are going to do!
Liked your the idea of the Sea Dogs becoming the PVP faction better.
Silver for sinking emssiaries based on your current loot value, with the sinkie getting 10% of that value.
50% less for second sink, 25% for 3rd sink and zero for 4th sink on the same crew.
Bounus for sinking reapers (reapers do not get silver)
Emissaries level increases for each unique type of damage/effect done to another character/ship & flags handed in.
Sea dog vs sea dog allows for progression on achievements from arena.
If this happened, I'd be more than willing to PvP. Especially if my hold is filled with Loot.
There’s got to be a way to create more incentive for pvp adventure. Everyone has their right to run but some of the whole fun of the game is to have those chance encounters, fight and reap the rewards. And the one faction that was supposed to do that can’t do it at all.

@@mountainrogue3448 it’s the fact that anything you sell them, stolen or not, they give a bonus for. It should be for just stolen items.
@@evanwick919 agreed. I wish they added a faction where you get silver and stuff for killing people and sinking ships. One of the favorite features from arena is just getting coins when you kill someone because its just easier to tell when you get someone. If it was pvp based and not loot based at all it would be a pure pvp faction only achievable from pvp wins.
No one is going to risk there loot over nothing.

I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the lack of skeleton ships atm, it's interesting that we are now hearing the name "captain" warsmith and all of the skeleton ships disappear from the seas
Not all but damned if they aren't harder to come by.
OK pitch idea for the Sea dogs to not die and hopefully make pvp and hotspots on the servers more available instead of the dumb fotd for the 60738th time.
Fortresses eventually get activated and instead of clearing them from mbs and pve, you have to defend it from other pirates for the loot, like a land vs sea type deal invading crews show up in boats you defend it by land or in some of the more well fortified islands, with lots of canons with good angles, lots of resources, ample space for ground to ground combat and a mechanic whereas if you're the first to set foot on the fort/island as long as there's one of your team mates still alive there you'll respawn on land or get wiped and the next squad regains the land spawn point, With the reward being something tied up to pirate legends as a secret door/legendary cupboard that can be opened if you have the shanty, so Pl's actually learn how to pvp and don't waste their time on mediocre trinkets
I agree. That would be cool ! I’ve said something similar to this before. I would love to see a land vs sea type of fort made. It would be like those sea forts but a bit more to it. Like you said, spawn points there would be great.
Sounds great, but with the current ship limit per server I fear it would turn into a forgotten feature quickly. Crews would end up sitting at a fortress for long periods of time bored and waiting for another crew to show up. Besides, You already get the same kind of land vs sea fight by doing a fof or fotd and having to fight off other players coming for the loot. The only differences with your concept would be that you'd have nothing to do and no loot until someone showed up, and you respawn on the island instead of the ship.

Personally I thought it might be the female mysterious stranger as the victim. It just seems odd that the tier 100 pirate legend item in the seasons reward is directly said to be hers and comments how she has not been seen for some time. Other than that I have no clue who the victim was? Anyone else’s ideas?

I hope we finally get some sort of vanguard emissary set to defend players from reapers. Great way for pvp sweats to meet eachother on the seas and let's new players engage in pvp if they want

This kinda upsets me man. I loved playing the arena. It's such a good way to get familiar with combat.
Community event idea: With the return of The Burning Blade, Ramsey is hard pressed to build something to even the odds. But to do that, he’ll need resources. Conveniently, two crews have come offering help: the higher-ups of the Sovereigns led by a much more capable Philip and a waterlogged gang of skeletons led by the temperamental lord of the deep, Coralbeard. Pirates (players) will have to pick which side to crew with. 🏴☠️

I get the feeling the Sea Dog’s tavern will become sort of a huge Athena fortress eventually, the way I see it if the Servant of the Flame is Flameheart’s hand in the Sea, then it could be that Demarco is gearing up to become Ramsey’s

Holy Crap the Whole Sea dogs faction bit becoming one huge ass fort would be amazing xD a system redesigned to work your way to the top of the arena bit and fight the boss there be it a cursed Amaranta promised the ability by Flame heart to have her desires met which is basically unending fighting on the world or be it one of flame hearts minions.
As long as it takes a different avenue from conventional forts that were time consuming and copy paste. introduce new features like traps you got to disable or take loads of damage, unlocking puzzles and features similar to the Siren Shrines. incorporate a lot into one massive fort system and you got an amazing world event in my books.
As well as a heavily contested world event where you can align yourself or betray them taking the treasure for yourself as they are left to die in traps you reactivated or puzzles you unsolved.
Well, this has aged uniquely.
I suggested to my crew the other day, that the new forts will come into play for a new PvP faction. We've seen flags raised on them in the trailer, that are not in fact there. So Capture the flag Arena-Stlye could become a thing.
Ever since the closure of the Arena I have been predicting the Sea Dogs come to Adventure with the funny purple chest. Thing I want but know I won't get: their new base is a big ass ship that sails around.
so aside from the great topic of the video I have to save bravo, was not expecting that intro it made my day after a long night at work.
I bet the tavern will become a game house with dice games and or card games
Game mechanic idea: you can take control of a fort by completing the ritual in the prison cell. If you have control over all of them, you activate something similar to FotD at the Sea Dog's.
I like this. I used one as a sort of alliance base on update day and it was loads of fun. Now it's hard to find people honest enough to form an alliance but that's the risk of being a pirate!
Where is/was Amaranta's dwelling? I would have remembered those pictures somewhere at the tavern...

I'm just trying to learn the PVP and they removed the Arena the day after I started playing again. And I'm a shit pirate because I feel bad taking nice people's stuff, so I just try and get people to chase my empty boat and fight them, now. Far less exp gained per session.

I feel like they really hyped up all the changes for season 6, but when it dropped it was kinda like "well that's cool, but is that it?" Also, we are supposed to follow a storyline with the adventures, but it feels so easy to forget what happened by the time they drop the next part. :/

Maybe it's just because I never played arena but the phrase 'well-known' doesn't scream any of the sea dogs to me. This is the first time I've even heard their names or even knew they were characters.
I was thinking it might be the death of a character who's a ghost but doesn't remember how they died. I just thought that was a cool concept but I'm probably way off.

This is what I think should happen with glorious sea dogs or new pvp faction and even improve the reaper one too
One make the both the new and reapers faction have ranks that can go up or down and add more of a competitive play
Make the new faction good guys this how I see silver can make a good use if there emissary is up where if they attack any other group they earn next to no xp but if there’s a reaper they earn xp plus sliver and if reapers have there emissary up every thing is worth more plus they earn sliver for attacking other emissary’s and when the good faction attack the reaper they earn xp and silver
This will not only make both a good and bad factions for pvp but this could add to the story between the Pirate lord with the good faction been controlled under his kids and the flame heart with his son with reapers and
Not only would this make reapers help one another but the new faction would be view as beacon of hope to new people who are new because if the good faction attacks them with there emissary up it would make the new ranking to go down
With the additional ranks to both the new and reapers faction you can really see who’s good at pvp and who isn’t because there can l kinda leaderboard at both reapers and new faction hubs to vote for emissaries and what not
The sliver can get you call new outfits ship sets and even pets

A true PVP faction would be amazing! I applaud the attempt with the Reapers, but they just made gold even more worthless than it already was.
