The “84 Kosh Yatra” is the 252 kilometers (Chaurasi or 84 kos in hindi) journey (pilgrimage) of the Braj Area which includes 12 Forests (Van), 24 Gardens, 20 Kunds(Ponds) and village like Barsana, Nand Gaon, Vrindavan, Mathura, Kosi, Radha Kund and Govardhan etc. It is a Seven Day journey.

Brij Chaurasi Kos Parikrama, also known as the “84 Kos Yatra”, entails traversing an area of approximately 250 kilometres (84 kos) in the Braj region, with parts falling in Mewat. Starting from Mathura, pilgrims travel through Nuh and Palwal villages in Mewat.

Braj Yatra circuit of pilgrimage was formally established by the 16th century sadhus of vaishnava sampradaya with fixed routes, itinerary and rituals. The circuit covers is spread across 2500 km2 area with 84 kos or 300 km long periphery extending 10 km to east and 50 km to north and west.
