I came across a TF Blade stream for the first time a few weeks ago and after 5 minutes of him playing I was repulsed. Constantly screaming at his chat and teammates, constantly spreading negativity in game, has a habit of muting people so he can't see their responses back to him while he just consistently types away and tilts. It was surprising seeing your video because I never imagined he had ever had a good reputation when I saw his stream. He'll immediately call out, argue and ban anyone that points out his bad behavior and a good percentage of his chat will revel in the toxicity and egg him on. I sincerely thought he was some other subpar edgy streamer. It's a shame but you can't be surprised with the League of Legends community I suppose.

I like that you don't take sides and talk about the whole situation, it humanizes people, which is difficult on the internet. I listened to this video and I couldn't, not feel empathy for him. People make mistakes, especially in lol with so much rage, I hope he gets better and recovers.
I knew nothing about TF Blade before watching this video, but a whole lot of the described events sounded like a bunch of bullshit. Many LoL streamers insult their teammates and opponents left and right, yet he was immediately banned? Either there's a missing piece of information or something weird is going on.
I think the high profile players often forget that they're effectively brand (game) ambassadors. Any brand doesn't want to be associated with toxicity or racism, homophobia etc so it totally makes sense for them to take action.

I don't know dude, Blade was kinda fun to watch before, due to personality, normally admitting mistakes(even making fun of himself) and of course good gameplay, with the ocassional whining and annoying random screaming. Now I feel he is unbearable when the things do not go his way.

just found out about ur channel, i haven't seen much of league for ages and im seeing all those old OG league streamers/youtubers falling. you know i always wondered what happend to Disco Heat and Solwolf, i used to watch them a lot. Solwolf did all those break the meta videos and Disco Heat pretty much did the same and with a little bit of trolling and the way he edited his videos... he was kinda like Stimpee but for League.

Everyone in League has his/her fame and it doesn't last long.
That's because, in North America, League isn't popular for its gameplay, it's popular because casuals watch it for a good laugh or two and want to troll people within the game.
It was never about the pro scene I mean it's NA, 70% of the teams in NA are trash with Cloud9 being the best team in NA.
Streaming League is basically being on auto-pilot the entire match because some moron wanted you to play AP Jax, being a pro is even worse, as you represent the worst region in the game.
As for low-elo players? Who cares?

The problem with investing your identity on a video game rank is that your confidence towards yourself is now dependent on that rank. And let's face it, League has changed so much and players now have access to tips and strategies online that make it difficult for even one player to carry games. And since TFBlade is literally playing with the best LoL players in the world, since his identity is built on always being the best Top Laner, whenever his plans fall inside the game and he doesn't get that ego boost from carrying and winning games, he copes by raging and exploding like a manchild.
It's pretty true, your skills will bring people onto the stream, your personality will make them stay. It's important as a streamer who plays a skill demanding video game to understand that.
Good vid, but he didn't reach Rank 1 on Turkey. He peaked Rank 2, and was super close reaching rank 1, right before a few games of being trolled thrice in a row and getting banned after.
serious question, does TF blade bot his viewers now? I remember during his hype season when he goes korea and climbs really high, then he gets 8-10k viewers, chat is going fast, everyones talking about him. But now he still gets like 2-4k viewers yet everything is dead like no chat nobody in his discord nothing happening, even the stream is just the same smurf gameplay, like who is watching this? i cant tell if its a real viewerbase or not

Bro I never comment but I just want tell this. Years ago i queued up to play a super causal ranked game at the time ~Silver 3, and was completely destroyed, but i felt this was different. Not only was the other played a shitting on me, was extremely toxic. Like insanely so. The next day I tuned in for my daily dose of synapse and behold was a clip of TF blade in my game. Not a super fan of him but was excited to see a streamer in my league. The clip involved him getting a somewhat crazy triple kill. He then goes into a giant rant about how bad everyone in this elo was , not only toxic in chat but also on his stream. To this day this i skip or click off anything with him in it. I am not a sensitive player, have played League consistently since like season 3. I get that sometimes streamers might want to hop on smurf and go crazy, but its super sucky for him to just complain and whine about how bad we were while also shitting on us. Just a example of a toxic player.

And I guess when you do something for a living, but the dude isn't just good at the game. He is exceptionally skilled making even Master and GM players look like toddlers again and again. Now mind you there's a lot of champions that can't even make it into GM, like Sett which is a normal toplaner isn't even in GM at all. Guess with the nature of League while your own skill is this far apart is def quite frustrating in some way lol

He def did fall off in viewers. I remember years ago when he'd pull 10k viewers consistently with an engaging chat that actually wanted to see him win. I still enjoy watching him personally. Yes for the gameplay but also because I've seen so much of his stream and I genuinely beleve he's a nice person when league doesn't tilt him. He's had a lot of heartwarming moments with his chat that people don't realize where he shows his gratitude. I know he has a lot of league rage but he's personally my favorite streamer.
