I have to say, the aftergame moments where they show each other they're decks is a great addition. Hope to see more of it in future episodes. And Sylvan just *does not* function right without the Rank 1 Xyz. That's the extender needed to easily reach the high level monsters.

Fun fact about sylvan flower knight that did not make it into twitter threads, the italian translation of the cards is "Notte fiore" which would be translated from english as flower NIGHT they ignored the letter K so intead of "Fior cavaliere" in which cavaliere means knight, we got FlowerNight. Unrelated fun fact that can be used for an mbts twitter thread about terrible translations error, zoodiac Boarbow in italian is arcorso, which is not boarbow, but bearbow. They literally ignored that the zoodiac are based around the chinese zodiac so instead of a pig we got a fucking bear

I went from supporting Dzeef in the beginning of watching this series to supporting MBT because it physically hurts watching time and time again Dzeef not reading his cards. It's like watching a toddler constantly destroying a vase, apologizing and promising to do better only to leave a room full of vases in shambles. Even if MBT chooses a bad pack or has the worst luck pulling SRs or URs he still somehow wins because he can READ!!!!
Honestly, it'd be pretty nice to see the Spheal turned into a duel spirit of sorts. I just like the idea of there being art of Doug made with a Spheal that floats around him as a duel spirit lol.
Got to love when Doug loses his mind over not reading and Joseph just is laughing bc he knows what he is trying to do! Man I look forward to watching you guys play every week
Oh, wow! Just finished the video, and I'm *loving* the post-game! Comparing decks and discussing is fun to watch; this was exactly what was missing from this series! Oh, and your self-analysis of the replay was good to see, too -- it shows how you're growing as a duelist, trying to learn from your mistakes. Glad to see the new includes!
I love when you include the post-game deck analysis! More of this please! I also think it's really funny how Doug was like "this deck is good" and MBT was like "this deck is trash" And then MBT won because big gadget boy
Rarely commenting but I have to say this: Roulette and Saga is the only gaming related content I currently watch. They are both so fun series with a nice host and fun guys! Thank you!
I do really like that the commentary after the games got included, it's definitely one of things I missed from the live broadcasts and I'm happy to see it in the video.
If cards are gated behind solo mode, perhaps a rule could be made to where the person who rolled that pack can run through solo mode to get those cards? It would help with some of the otherwise less playable packs.
I don’t know if this has been a thought, but maybe after roulette you guys could swap cohosts for the two series and give us Farfa on roulette until you finish another go around and MBT subbing in for saga until then
maybe if they get the packs with solos that have gated stuff, like megaliths, they can play the stuff from that solo mode, but only if they match archetypes? Similar to the poly rule.
To be fair to Doug, Plants have some of the most complicated combos, and every archetype sort of interacts with every other archetype. Sylvans deck stacking can be hard to keep track of and plan for, and sunvine/sunseed really play a different game without sowing. It would be cool to see Doug explore plants in an unrestricted environment, maybe his friend could guest star and help copilot haha.
I haven't gotten to decklists, but I'm REALLY hoping MBT realizes that that one Gadget Trap is just Machine Mirror Force. Also that Concentrating Current is crazy.
Hey maybe once you get down to like 15 secret packs left, you can start opening 30 packs since alot of the ones remaining are packs that you guys have skipped because they're unplayable. So why not open more packs just so you might be able to do something crazy with them
Doug is a terrible sylvan player lol It's amazing. I alao want to knoa what he thought sylvan princess did? Special summon tree? what? Also the fact he stacked his deck and thought he'd get lucky @ 22:34 is amazing.
2:53-3:53 The actual first spin shown after the Shifting Gears pack was "Magnificence of Angels." That's the *Valkyrie* pack. I think MBT dodged a bullet here, haha.
If you try really hard you can make any synchro monster with some symphonic help, they can modulate a lot, but Masterflare Hyperion is a pipe dream anyway, probably won't even be played in the episode
Man, Doug had all the tools to win this one. For how long can they test the decks before going live after the pulls? Cause it felt like he was discovering the cards. Feels even more bad (yes, more bad) cause I’m a sylvan enjoyer. Anyway, kudos to Joseph for pulling wins with this atrocious pile of cards.
@@crappyusername69 His only way to go somewhere was to use BenG, Hermitrees and Alsei.
