Hello Dansky, I have downloaded and placed the metaball file into illustrator scripts but when checking the option from the tool bar on illustrator, I don't see anything like metaballs. i.e it doesn't work. Please advise.
On Windows, drag and drop a script on the Illustrator icon on the taskbar. When you right click on the icon, you will see the script pinned right above recently opened files. Don't thank me.

Another great video! I've been making these the "old fashioned" way for a few years now. You should try it with different shapes like squares or hexagons and octogons then add some round corners - the options are unlimited with what you can create!

I was looking for something like this. I don't know why but I am sure I saw somewhere, that there is way to blend 2 circles in illustrator so the blend is live, if you enlarge one circle they stay connected. Like a live bland fluid connection. I don't know if I saw this for illustrator or affinity, or it was in the Astute graphics plug in. Wierd, let me know if you know of that tool/ technique Dansky. Thanks!
