Well played Ashwin, it is very difficult to play RDB creations as he was such a maverick and unpredictable in weaving the soul of real magic of music compositions, pieces of instrumental play and arrangements thereof, Ashwin tried it and proved that he is on the same plateform where Pt. Hari Prasad Chaurasiya and Pt.Ronu Mazumdar stood and luckily both played flute for RDB...
I am just flabbergasted by the amount of talent we have in our country and unaware ,but for courtesy ,U Tube and the uploaders .Our sincere thanks for giving us such valuable information about these gems in the music field ,
A master flute player like Ashwin says, he had to figure out how Pancham Da could have conceived the change in octave in the prelude of the Todi. It is only through these musicians, one is discovering what a geniuis Pancham Da was. So ... so much subtelty exists beneath the compositions. It is truly humbling.

We must appriciate the dedication of the organizers who are continuously presenting the eternal RD magic... and various old and new musicians...an ever-growing RD's musical ecology. Thanks Sir!
