    20:05 2pac said that he's not the God of Hip Hop but I digress. By him being the first rapper ever to be in jail and still have his album (Me Against The World) number 1 on the billboard, coming out of jail and selling 6 millions records and being the first rapper to have a double album that goes platinum(All Eyez On Me), being in the studio everyday doing 6 songs a day, being in the rock n roll Hall of Fame after 25 yrs (😒), receiving a Hollywood Star, and still have tv shows and documentary going on about his life until this day, I'm sorry but that sounds like the God of Hip Hop to me. Sorry Eminem but the original rap God is in Heaven.
    #R.I.P 2pac ✌&❤

      Deiontae Burnett a few of those points you made have nothing to do with HIP-HOP or positivity. RAKIM is the God EMCEE and has been since the 1980s which is why Pac said that. Tupac having a number one album while in prison is not an accomplishment it's a reflection of how wrong things are in the world. He had the number one album but was broke, in prison, his life was in danger, he couldn't get himself out of a bad situation, he had to depend on us for things a man is usually able to provide for himself. There was nothing positive about that time. Pac worked hard because he had to, his life and the well being of others deepened on it and it wasn't about the music is was about survival. Record sales don't mean much in HIP-HOP Culture many of the greatest EMCEEs in history never went platinum and many never even went gold, you probably don't even know their names or music. Pac also does not have a star on the walk of fame. Since you seem to know so much about Pac recall he said he would not change the world but spark the mind that changes the world.... Pac read much more than he wrote, he'd be disappointed when I didn't bring him something to read. Study deeper than the surface before writing or speaking✌🏾

    • @dboslice
      @dboslice 5 років тому +5

      Yes I do know they're names and all that. All I do is listen to old school rap. I know about Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Public Enemy, Run DMC, and all that. And I also know what Tupac said in his interviews and the whole nine. I was just stating my opinion and I was saying that in a way for 2pac to being such a hard worker and making those accomplishment and being a revolutionary rapper, I'm saying in my eyes he is the God of Hip Hop because he changed the rap game and opened a lot. Yes Rakim is dope and I know all of that. But Rakim wasn't rapping about pregnant women that struggling and rapping about people on Welfare and expressing a lot of personal shit.

    • @meagainstthewrld606
      @meagainstthewrld606 5 років тому +2

      Deiontae Burnett RAKIM spoke on all the above and more. Many people miss some things he and others like Wu-Tang speak on because they don't have knowledge of self like we all do and there's terminology people don't get and things they've never learned. Tupac is the greatest HIP-HOP ARTIST of all time because he did a little bit of many things but he wasn't the best at any one thing. Pac's first love acting which he was classically trained for and rapping is a form of acting which is what made him so believable. Every EMCEE is an artist but not every artist is or can be an EMCEE.

      @kahlildopeboi dopeboimagic FACTS not one of them he is I'm not judging it just on music I'm just talking about the greatest period biggie nas jay rakim em big l big pun etc are all great and they all had lyrics and substance but they were all rappers this guy on the other hand was just something else he was a rapper a actor a poet a activist a revolutionary a prophet he was so many things at once and even if we just keep it to the music his music made you feel more then any of those other guys songs like Brenda got a baby keep ya head up dear mama and changes the things he was saying in changes is just pure genius and they still affect are society and world today over 20 Years later. everyone that speaks about him says he just had something special about him you could feel it when you talk to him the things he would say would just leave you shocked he was a genius I've never seen that many stories about one person on youtube before he literally has countless amounts of insane stories he lived life fast and to the fullest at the age of 25 for just 3 months he lived the life of a 60-100 year old. The quote isn't "Money is the root to all evil". It's "The LOVE of money is the root to all evil". There's a huge difference between the two ideologies. An inanimate object can't be blamed for anything because it's neither evil nor good it's neutral. It can be used as a tool for good and evil depending on the intent of the individual(s).

      You can find that quote from the Good Book of books.
      The 1611 King James Version (KJV)
      1 Timothy 6:10-12
      10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
      11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
      12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

    Apparently he blames BiG for knowing what was going to happen and didn't warn Tupac.
    Tupac launched/helped BiG's career,
    They were buddies...
    Also, Badboys music label has not denied these accusations...
    Tupac has suffered several injustices because of his interviews where he talks about social, societal and political causes. He was a cultured person who wanted to make a difference. He was young, but he had a real awareness of people's problems and discomfort. He was angry and that's understandable.

    I was born in 1982 I grew a love for tupac when he came out in the juice movie as bishop and was featured on the song with digital underground at the time I didn't know his name when I was a kid grown up in the 90's but I liked him then he came out with poetic justice then that's when I learned his name then that's when I was growning a love for him now it's 2019 I'm 37 now and I know a few music artists from back in the dayz like D-shot and suga-t from e40's bay area rap group the click D-shot is my neighbor on where I live and every now and then we will talk about tupac he said to me he knew tupac like personally like so many rappers from back n da dayz and he told me that he can see some similarities in me like pac I was like wow that's a major compliment cause I love tupac and D-shot also said to me if pac was still alive and around he would have grown a huge love for me and we would all kick it real tough I was like hell yeah cause in a since I looked at pac like an older brother I never met.

    It's not his last interview and it isn't a lost interview. This interview was done about 4 months before he died. It was around the time he met Kidada, he tried to introduce she and I but he didn't know we already knew one another since we were children. He did about 5 interviews just from the time we were in N.Y. for the MTV Awards up to the day before we went to Vegas days later when he was shot. So this is by no means his final interview. Many things he said in this interview is not the mentally he had the entire time we spoke when he was in prison. During his months in prison he had so many positive plans that he totally abandoned literally the day he was released from Clinton prison. In that last year we had strong differences of perception and opinion many times which never happened before then. The biggest difference we had was his treatment of BIG which was totally wrong because BIG did nothing wrong at all, we were all friends at one time. The worst was his disrespect of Faith after luring her to the studio saying it was for a song but it was a set up he never had the money to pay her knowing she was broke at the time he took advantage of her when she was just trying to a make living and everyone knows what he turned that situation into in the media. Pac took rumors and lies and ran with it for publicity to sell records but in his last days he felt guilty and planned to make amends. He cut a lot of people off who cared for him including his own family and chose to go down a dead end road in the name of loyalty to the wrong people. People say Pac predicted his death but I knew him well since we were teenagers before the fame and the many things he did and chose to be around ultimately caused his own death. Those bullets may have hit him but they left wounds in me and others who love him, wounds that haven't, and feel like they will never, heal. It's all the good memories of his time with us that ease the pain and seeing the positive influence he had now on people who were not even born when he was here.

    If you listen to alot of pacs interviews , video taped or audio, you can piece together what really happened to him at quad studio, and you can see why he was also upset with biggie, and why he said the things he said, you gotta listen closely to some of the things he say, for example he once said in "fear got stronger than love" that quote was meant for biggie because the nigga who ran bad boy and put money in there, is the nigga who got pac shot, so with pac wanting biggie , who is the closest to the source to give him information on what happened ,so he can plan his next move and biggie basically ignoring after he took care of biggie when he was broke as a joke, the fear of that money Jimmy henchman was running into bad boy going away, is what made biggie not say nothing, he ain't wanna lose his bank roll.
