And Nanon also said that after the shootings of The Gifted : Graduation ended, he couldn't stop being Pang for a while, because he couldn't get out of Pang's mentality. And (if I remember correctly) Ohm said even when they started the workshops for Bad Buddy, it was like Nanon still had Pang in him, so it took a while for Ohm to reach Nanon to help him get over Pang and be Nanon again before he tries to become Pran.
@@cyreneB What some people don't realize is that it's hard to breakout of a character when you're acting. I think something similar happened with Gulf from TharnType. While BTS, he was still in the Type character but Mew helped him. It was amazing to see but it can also be scary, which is why some actors go to therapy because they can't snap out of their character. It just goes to show how passionate these actors are with playing their roles. It's inspiring.

I made the plotline and I acted a minor mob coz it was needed. She was lead and her character was inspired by Bella Lestrange. She stopped coming to class for a month I think and took online for a while to cope with her studies coz she actually choked me. It was scary. She said sorry and went to therapy. She stopped acting though coz she was scared she said. Eventhough she clearly liked doing it. I opted out of actually acting and instead only did bts when we have activities. I was excused.

It's why there's so many A Listed actors because they get so into their character(s) that it's hard to snap out of it, which is why some go to therapy, especially child actors. I concur. But to clarify, the curry at the end was a totally different day in the characters' lives. It was a second curry, unlike the second audition scene which was an addition to the first audition scene.

But I have seen multiple comments and reactions in the past two days by people who saw the audition expansion scene then considered the second curry scene was also an expansion. It was a clarification to ensure everyone was on the same page, not to correct you, because I do think the editing at the end created some confusion.
In the opening scene Pat calls himself Hea (hia) and Pran calls himself Nhu. The terms Hea-Nhu are commonly used among sugar daddy-sugar baby in Thailand (according to thai fans they mean it that way in the scene) thats why pran choked & took pic of his actual dad 💀💀💀 Also i think ohmnanon entered daddy baby era or sum bc they started puns & jokes abt that on ig & live today 😭

The cinematography for this episode was on another level. Especially during the last part where we saw nanon being in the dark while toto yelled at him to pat entering the space with utmost brightness lighting up nanon's life, like a star illuminating the dark sky DAMNN Gmm tv you better give the entire team a pay raise!!!! Yes! I noticed that too- was almost impossible to see Pran when Toto was yelling at him and then almost like a spotlight was on him when Pat showed up!! Fantastic direction and camera work!!
i think the real reason pat stopped pran's confession is that he wanted pran to confess willingly, rather than he was forced into a corner and had to so he could get out. which is SO sweet and im so glad that he did (even though a rooftop confession would've been amazing).
The thing is, Ohm also helped Nanon to dissociate with his previous character. Ohm said Nanon had a wall between them before the shoot because Nanon is still Pang from The Gifted, so Ohm had to help guide him to be Pran of Bad Buddy. The level of trust Ohm and Nanon they have for each other and also their trust to P'Aof made the series a success!
"It's such a reveal...they're boyfriends...they've been boyfriends this entire time." I did not see this. The jump cuts at the end moved between three events. The audition, the conversation they had on the stage, the curry kissing dinner. Oops, I mean the curry chicken dinner. The audition scene was an expansion of the earlier audition scene, providing new information. And while Pran knew Pat's words were actually for him personally, technically that was Riam speaking to Kwan; so, technically it wasn't a confession and the game didn't end that night. However, the chicken scene was NOT an expansion of the earlier scene with new info, as the audition was. The first curry scene unfolded in Pran's apartment. The second scene unfolded in Pa and Pat's, which means they took place at different points in the story. I see it as Pran conceding the game in appreciation for Pat saving the play. (Presumably, this dinner moment occurs a few hours after the stage conversation. Also, one can argue that Pat conceded during that convrrsation.) So in my take, they didn't end their game and accept each other as boyfriends much earlier than we'd been led to believe. Remember, on the rooftop, Pran comments that they are both too stubborn to admit their feelings without some catalyst. That makes little sense if they were already a couple to each other. Rather, Pat saving the play and Pran cooking the meal became the catalyst they needed to overcome their stubbornness. They moved past their silly, pointless bet and became a couple only at the END of ep 7, the latest chronological point in the story so far. So I see the ending differently than y'all.

P'Of said he had to scream at them to stop kissing. Ohm nanon also had a very enlighting conversation in safe house about there acting methods. Ohm said when nanon showed up for bad buddy workshop he was so entrenched in his chacrater from Gifted that he did not recognized him. It took a while to get him out of character. Nanon is a method actor, its makes then very good but it can also be dangerous for them.

the cutest thing about the scene where pat is "acting" is that it's an improvisation. so ,despite the fact it fits the kwan/riam story, it's literally pat just saying exactly what he wants to pran. im so glad that even if it doesn't count in their game, it still was an amazing confession.
The timeline in the book is so different it starts on the boys being seniors and Pat and Pa already living together with Pran in the room next door. Pran did not leave for 3 yrs they were secretly hanging out at Pran’s room every time Pa would get mad at Pat and kick him out. The half time or season 2 in the book is after school. A couple of things of importance was the condensed milk which is the only thing Pat will eat for breakfast so Pran always makes sure to have some on hand for him, and Fragrance (Pats doll) which he can not sleep without and rarely washes because he has a sensitive sense of smell. Fragrance is talked about a lot in the book.
Pran doesn't have an older brother. The boy in his house (previous episode) is his father's employee. He used to work for Pat's dad. It's shown in the first episode as he walks over with the other employees of Pat's father to Pran's dad.
They competed in everything since they born, Pat's action that he rather to lose, really more powerful than only words of confession... so sincere, pure and deeply in love. I am so touching for this QvQ This really a script that can call it masterpiece, and amazing actors perfect for this series.

I cannot imagine Pat and Pran wholesome like this after reading the novel again lol 😂 In the novel, Pat has been sleeping at Pran’s room for 2 weeks straight. They’re not yet BF, and Pran’s been always the one who takes care of Pat when he gets injured in the fights. Reading the novel again always brings so much tears of happiness and kilig.
I didn't mind this time jump because it was important to the pacing of the series. In my opinion, two things needed to happen and it would take too long without a time jump. The first, is giving Pran and Pat enough time to flirt because of the bet, I am not sure how much time passed, but I'm guessing a month give or take? That means that you can assume, as a vewer, that they've been doing this for a while and they are already tired of the game. It also allows the bet to be over in just one episode, which matches the overall pacing of the series, we get frustrated, but not annoyed. The second thing is Pa becoming a freshman. I wanted Ink and Pa to get together since, like, three episodes ago, but I was really trying not to ship them seriously because Ink is in college and Pa was in school. Now Pa in in college with all of them and that means their storyline can get more obvious, as can be seen in this episode. We got more InkPa content in this than in any other episode previously.

I don’t know if you notice but they did a call back to the feeding pat scene if you remember at the beginning when pat said when he likes someone he wants to cook them food so I tried to feed pat basically silently asking pat do you like me but pat didn’t eat it cause then that would mean he admitted he likes pran first so he said no and left right away because he knew that he was about to break then if you go to the end of the episode the callback once again when pat tries to feed himself pran stops him and tries to feed him once again basically asking once again do you like me silently but this time without caring pat eats it while looking him right in the eye and right away pran puts the spoon down and ships his koala thing a over would do basically silently saying to pat I like you too that’s why they smiled at each other when pran whipped his mouth because they basically said in their small silent way that they both like each other and accept each other

So the curry scene at the beginning of the ep is not the same one at the end. Pat and Pran are wearing totally different shirts. Which means they have had curry for dinner more than once. Also this means they have been eating dinner together probably on a regular basis. Lastly, the doll in Pran's room screams sleepover at least once for Pat. Side Note: P'Aof mentioned on one of the behind the scenes episodes that this is Wei's first BL and in real life he is a Thai doctor. 😉

I think you’re confused about Pran’s family. Pran doesn’t have an older brother. If you’re thinking it’s Chai (from episodes 1, 3, and 6), Chai used to work for Pat’s dad and then left to go work for Pran’s. It was shown in the family feud backstory of episode 1.

I just love how they start this episode with an Ad. Promo kings on the way. The flirting on this episode is so smooth. I think this is how Ohm and Nanon normally spend the day. When Pat's parents videocall with the answer/declined still on the screen. I was like, is that even possible? the tech in Thailand is scary. Privacy is shaking. Bad Buddy always serve good episode without any fillers even the ad placement is integrated with the story, past BL can't even. I won't complain how the F is that drink relevant to the story. Starting this episode if they put that drink on every bed scene i wont complain. Yes, I know Wai is Pran's BFF but don't just throw your responsibility to Pran just because your friends. And a hug is enough to show you appreciate it, no need to kiss a friend. Who ever do that to a male friend. Love the part when Wai and Ink show interest to Pa. I think someone will be good with Pat in the next episode. If Pat is not the best boyfriend. I don't know anymore. The lines at the end is so smooth. We know Pran already love Pat, but with those line. I don't know how can Pran can take all of that. If someone tell me "If my victory cause trouble to my boyfriend, i rather lose" i'm dead. we should get married! I melt at the kisses at the end of the episode. So, precious. I don't know how many times my heart flutter in this episode. I saw P.Aof mentioned that he shouted "Enough" while filming the last scene because Ohm and Nanon won't stop kissing.
There is a theory that I have about this series, and every episode is supporting it. I feel like Pran's mom and Pat's dad might have dated. and This feud between the families started with the grandparents. The reason I say this is because Pat's dad and Pran's mom are the more vocal and competitive. Their partners seem more along for the ride. I wouldn't be surprised if Pran's mom wasn't the one who made her husband start the business to compete with Pat's dad. Basically, the parents are the real Romeo and Juliet, and that's why Pran's mom is so against him dating Pat or his sister. She knows from her experience how it won't work. She even has a line in episode 6 that seems out of nowhere when Pat visits. When she is having an argument with Pat's dad. She says, "Oh! Do you think you're so great? Do you want me to say it out loud?" That's when she is interrupted by the guy jumping in to defuse. The look Pat's dad had, tells me there is history there. And that's the real reason why there aren't wasting time with dragging Pat and Pran's story out. They want to tackle the parents' skeletons.

They made me feel sooooo single! I wish a Pat/Pran/Ohm/Nanon in all our lives. Couple goals!! As I thought, Pran’s mum has no issues with him being gay, bi, pan, or whatever.. She's fine as long as it isn't any of the neighbors’ kids, which makes things sooo twisted. We still need to know what’s the beef between the parents (specially between Pat's dad and Pran's mum), but it has to be big. My thought was always, the mum sent him away cause she sensed something was happening between them both, and that’s why she has a problem with him playing THAT guitar and so.. I think the next episodes are gonna be a hot mess. We'll have a weird dynamic here: Pa-Wai vs Pa-Ink (which I love them both, but highkey I ship Pa-Ink); then Wai-Korn (less likely, but idk, enemies to lovers is a thing), cause why did Korn casually appeared the moment Wai met Pa. It would add to the whole drama if we can witness how things gets messy between them and make things for Pat-Pran even more complicated; I don’t think they will show much of it because if so, the series should have at least 16 eps, and we know they are only 12. I would be like a love-star rather than triangle as you mentioned. Then, parents and friends suspecting/finding out about them will create a turmoil to their recent "official" relationship and of course chaos. *I recommend you watch Jennie Panhan latest episode on her YT channel (n. 47), she interviewed the boys and they said that love triangles are cliché, so I think we can expect a lot coming our way. Aaaaand there were mentions on a season 2 (or maybe a spin off about Pa-Ink-Wai-Korn?).. We are all crossing fingers I think. I really can't wait for the next episode, I'm dying here!! Just realised that dee and kent refer to Pat and Pran as gay Just to clarify neither character is gay Pat is confirmed Pansexual which was obvious from ep 1 that Pat loves Pran because of who Pran is (personality) and not what Pran is (gender) Pran is confirmed Demisexual which again is obvious from ep 1 Pran like Pat doesn't care about the gender of his partner but with Pran it's about the emotional connection he has with Pat that slowly became romantic feelings for Pat I say this because I get that people want to connect with the characters by latching their own sexualities onto Pat and Pran but it's important to teach people that there is more beyond the gay/lesbian straight or bi and other sexualities deserve the spotlight more as apparently no one seems to know anything about them
Another proof that what Phat said during the audition was from the bottom of his heart was when after the audition he said that he just wanted to hit on Pran in the crowd. I can'ttt But I feel like the family issue will be a big hindrance to them because every episodes, their hesitations was more on due to their families and I believe P'Aof was building everything up for that climax. (spoiler alert: in the novel they were separated again because of their families)

But I have seen multiple comments and reactions in the past two days by people who saw the audition expansion scene then considered the second curry scene was also an expansion. It was a clarification to ensure everyone was on the same page, not to correct you, because I do think the editing at the end created some confusion.
In the opening scene Pat calls himself Hea (hia) and Pran calls himself Nhu. The terms Hea-Nhu are commonly used among sugar daddy-sugar baby in Thailand (according to thai fans they mean it that way in the scene) thats why pran choked & took pic of his actual dad 💀💀💀 Also i think ohmnanon entered daddy baby era or sum bc they started puns & jokes abt that on ig & live today 😭

i think the real reason pat stopped pran's confession is that he wanted pran to confess willingly, rather than he was forced into a corner and had to so he could get out. which is SO sweet and im so glad that he did (even though a rooftop confession would've been amazing).
The thing is, Ohm also helped Nanon to dissociate with his previous character. Ohm said Nanon had a wall between them before the shoot because Nanon is still Pang from The Gifted, so Ohm had to help guide him to be Pran of Bad Buddy. The level of trust Ohm and Nanon they have for each other and also their trust to P'Aof made the series a success!
"It's such a reveal...they're boyfriends...they've been boyfriends this entire time." I did not see this. The jump cuts at the end moved between three events. The audition, the conversation they had on the stage, the curry kissing dinner. Oops, I mean the curry chicken dinner. The audition scene was an expansion of the earlier audition scene, providing new information. And while Pran knew Pat's words were actually for him personally, technically that was Riam speaking to Kwan; so, technically it wasn't a confession and the game didn't end that night. However, the chicken scene was NOT an expansion of the earlier scene with new info, as the audition was. The first curry scene unfolded in Pran's apartment. The second scene unfolded in Pa and Pat's, which means they took place at different points in the story. I see it as Pran conceding the game in appreciation for Pat saving the play. (Presumably, this dinner moment occurs a few hours after the stage conversation. Also, one can argue that Pat conceded during that convrrsation.) So in my take, they didn't end their game and accept each other as boyfriends much earlier than we'd been led to believe. Remember, on the rooftop, Pran comments that they are both too stubborn to admit their feelings without some catalyst. That makes little sense if they were already a couple to each other. Rather, Pat saving the play and Pran cooking the meal became the catalyst they needed to overcome their stubbornness. They moved past their silly, pointless bet and became a couple only at the END of ep 7, the latest chronological point in the story so far. So I see the ending differently than y'all.

Ohm nanon also had a very enlighting conversation in safe house about there acting methods. Ohm said when nanon showed up for bad buddy workshop he was so entrenched in his chacrater from Gifted that he did not recognized him. It took a while to get him out of character. Nanon is a method actor, its makes then very good but it can also be dangerous for them.

the cutest thing about the scene where pat is "acting" is that it's an improvisation. so ,despite the fact it fits the kwan/riam story, it's literally pat just saying exactly what he wants to pran. im so glad that even if it doesn't count in their game, it still was an amazing confession.
The timeline in the book is so different it starts on the boys being seniors and Pat and Pa already living together with Pran in the room next door. Pran did not leave for 3 yrs they were secretly hanging out at Pran’s room every time Pa would get mad at Pat and kick him out. The half time or season 2 in the book is after school. A couple of things of importance was the condensed milk which is the only thing Pat will eat for breakfast so Pran always makes sure to have some on hand for him, and Fragrance (Pats doll) which he can not sleep without and rarely washes because he has a sensitive sense of smell. Fragrance is talked about a lot in the book.
The part when Pat is acting sick is basically the PG version of NC scenes we won't get 😂
Pran doesn't have an older brother. The boy in his house (previous episode) is his father's employee. He used to work for Pat's dad. It's shown in the first episode as he walks over with the other employees of Pat's father to Pran's dad.

I didn't mind this time jump because it was important to the pacing of the series. In my opinion, two things needed to happen and it would take too long without a time jump. The first, is giving Pran and Pat enough time to flirt because of the bet, I am not sure how much time passed, but I'm guessing a month give or take? That means that you can assume, as a vewer, that they've been doing this for a while and they are already tired of the game. It also allows the bet to be over in just one episode, which matches the overall pacing of the series, we get frustrated, but not annoyed.
The second thing is Pa becoming a freshman. I wanted Ink and Pa to get together since, like, three episodes ago, but I was really trying not to ship them seriously because Ink is in college and Pa was in school. Now Pa in in college with all of them and that means their storyline can get more obvious, as can be seen in this episode. We got more InkPa content in this than in any other episode previously.
Watching this I feel like I'm watching with friends. You guys so into it that made me can watch your whole reaction.

I don’t know if you notice but they did a call back to the feeding pat scene if you remember at the beginning when pat said when he likes someone he wants to cook them food so I tried to feed pat basically silently asking pat do you like me but pat didn’t eat it cause then that would mean he admitted he likes pran first so he said no and left right away because he knew that he was about to break then if you go to the end of the episode the callback once again when pat tries to feed himself pran stops him and tries to feed him once again basically asking once again do you like me silently but this time without caring pat eats it while looking him right in the eye and right away pran puts the spoon down and ships his koala thing a over would do basically silently saying to pat I like you too that’s why they smiled at each other when pran whipped his mouth because they basically said in their small silent way that they both like each other and accept each other

So the curry scene at the beginning of the ep is not the same one at the end. Pat and Pran are wearing totally different shirts. Which means they have had curry for dinner more than once. Also this means they have been eating dinner together probably on a regular basis. Lastly, the doll in Pran's room screams sleepover at least once for Pat. Side Note: P'Aof mentioned on one of the behind the scenes episodes that this is Wei's first BL and in real life he is a Thai doctor. 😉

I think you’re confused about Pran’s family. Pran doesn’t have an older brother. If you’re thinking it’s Chai (from episodes 1, 3, and 6), Chai used to work for Pat’s dad and then left to go work for Pran’s. It was shown in the family feud backstory of episode 1.

I just love how they start this episode with an Ad. Promo kings on the way. The flirting on this episode is so smooth. I think this is how Ohm and Nanon normally spend the day. When Pat's parents videocall with the answer/declined still on the screen. I was like, is that even possible? the tech in Thailand is scary. Privacy is shaking. Bad Buddy always serve good episode without any fillers even the ad placement is integrated with the story, past BL can't even. I won't complain how the F is that drink relevant to the story. Starting this episode if they put that drink on every bed scene i wont complain. Yes, I know Wai is Pran's BFF but don't just throw your responsibility to Pran just because your friends. And a hug is enough to show you appreciate it, no need to kiss a friend. Who ever do that to a male friend. Love the part when Wai and Ink show interest to Pa. I think someone will be good with Pat in the next episode. If Pat is not the best boyfriend. I don't know anymore. The lines at the end is so smooth. We know Pran already love Pat, but with those line. I don't know how can Pran can take all of that. If someone tell me "If my victory cause trouble to my boyfriend, i rather lose" i'm dead. we should get married! I melt at the kisses at the end of the episode. So, precious. I don't know how many times my heart flutter in this episode. I saw P.Aof mentioned that he shouted "Enough" while filming the last scene because Ohm and Nanon won't stop kissing.
There is a theory that I have about this series, and every episode is supporting it. I feel like Pran's mom and Pat's dad might have dated. and This feud between the families started with the grandparents. The reason I say this is because Pat's dad and Pran's mom are the more vocal and competitive. Their partners seem more along for the ride. I wouldn't be surprised if Pran's mom wasn't the one who made her husband start the business to compete with Pat's dad. Basically, the parents are the real Romeo and Juliet, and that's why Pran's mom is so against him dating Pat or his sister. She knows from her experience how it won't work. She even has a line in episode 6 that seems out of nowhere when Pat visits. When she is having an argument with Pat's dad. She says, "Oh! Do you think you're so great? Do you want me to say it out loud?" That's when she is interrupted by the guy jumping in to defuse. The look Pat's dad had, tells me there is history there. And that's the real reason why there aren't wasting time with dragging Pat and Pran's story out. They want to tackle the parents' skeletons.

As I thought, Pran’s mum has no issues with him being gay, bi, pan, or whatever.. She's fine as long as it isn't any of the neighbors’ kids, which makes things sooo twisted. We still need to know what’s the beef between the parents (specially between Pat's dad and Pran's mum), but it has to be big. My thought was always, the mum sent him away cause she sensed something was happening between them both, and that’s why she has a problem with him playing THAT guitar and so..
I think the next episodes are gonna be a hot mess. We'll have a weird dynamic here: Pa-Wai vs Pa-Ink (which I love them both, but highkey I ship Pa-Ink); then Wai-Korn (less likely, but idk, enemies to lovers is a thing), cause why did Korn casually appeared the moment Wai met Pa. It would add to the whole drama if we can witness how things gets messy between them and make things for Pat-Pran even more complicated; I don’t think they will show much of it because if so, the series should have at least 16 eps, and we know they are only 12. I would be like a love-star rather than triangle as you mentioned. Then, parents and friends suspecting/finding out about them will create a turmoil to their recent "official" relationship and of course chaos.
*I recommend you watch Jennie Panhan latest episode on her YT channel (n. 47), she interviewed the boys and they said that love triangles are cliché, so I think we can expect a lot coming our way. Aaaaand there were mentions on a season 2 (or maybe a spin off about Pa-Ink-Wai-Korn?).. We are all crossing fingers I think.

Just to clarify neither character is gay
Pat is confirmed Pansexual which was obvious from ep 1 that Pat loves Pran because of who Pran is (personality) and not what Pran is (gender)
Pran is confirmed Demisexual which again is obvious from ep 1 Pran like Pat doesn't care about the gender of his partner but with Pran it's about the emotional connection he has with Pat that slowly became romantic feelings for Pat
I say this because I get that people want to connect with the characters by latching their own sexualities onto Pat and Pran but it's important to teach people that there is more beyond the gay/lesbian straight or bi and other sexualities deserve the spotlight more as apparently no one seems to know anything about them
Another proof that what Phat said during the audition was from the bottom of his heart was when after the audition he said that he just wanted to hit on Pran in the crowd. I can'ttt
But I feel like the family issue will be a big hindrance to them because every episodes, their hesitations was more on due to their families and I believe P'Aof was building everything up for that climax.
(spoiler alert: in the novel they were separated again because of their families)

I've known if a lot of actors like Nanon and Mew who get really into their characters and roles that they do get emotional and have a hard time stopping like with crying ATM stuff so the behind the scenes shows then crying hard even after they finished up the scenes
