Oxtail has really become popular in the last few years. They have always been popular with Caribbeans and black southerners. It was a relatively inexpensive cut of meat at around $ 5 per lb but they now go for double that.

Yea, oxtail has become pricey as folks have discovered what a delicacy they are. A Russian woman taught me how to cook with them.

I am a long time subscriber and I just made this it was fantastic I have tried many recipes for oxtail and they have never been good tell now thank you very much for the recipe definitely a keeper.
