I'd love to see them do carpet. You could use the lawn mites for red or the dust mites for white. Would also love if you could dye certain objects, like make the mushroom bricks black.

Base defense mode would be cool, add and replace the labs and field station machines with beacons that encourage exploration aside from only improving your base, they could make a circle from the center that tells you where enemies are moving allowing you to prepare your base from where they're attacking. You could also remove analyzer in this mode or keep it, if removed just auto-analyze anything you pick up. Would be faster paced but a fun as hell experience.
To be fair though the spinning wheels and grinders can only focus on one at any given time much like in the real world however you can cook multiple things at ones because heat doesn’t just focus on/isn’t limited to one item, if something is hot enough it’s gonna cook so I kinda get the grinders and stuff not making more than one at a time but I agree that it would save a lot of time
To anyone what to know, killing black widowlings gives you 5 webs so go to the areas that have the tier 3 sacs and farm them. The sacs have a decent chance of dropping black ox horns and if you want an easy way of killing them, a level 5+ spicy staff (with the wizard mutation) will speed it up greatly (note: you don't take splash damage from your own spicy shot). A place you can find widowlings without having killed a black widow is at the wood pile under the blue tarp, the sacs do respawn. If you kill the black widow underneath the shed, it's permanently dead but it's widowlings and sacs will respawn (funfact: if you fast enough and or tanky enough, you can just run past the black widow and fight it another day. Edit: sorry for any errors
The only thing I disagree on one of your suggestions, is having multiple things process in the spinning wheel, glue masher, and grinder. I see how it would make life easier... like the update says, but It would make getting silk rope really easy. Maybe having the buildings have upgrades for better efficiency would be better. But I wouldn't really care if they did change it, it's still better silk production.
I agree there should be upgraded version of production structures it's kind of silly to have multiple of the same item they should have tiers just like the weapons and armor
I'd like to eventually be able to track molars a bit better. At least rough area like pond, grassland, hedge, etc. Just make the search for them near the end of the game a little bit more tolerable since they're necessary to get 100%
@@eicheldrei7408 yes im very well aware of the scanner, which is very short range. Even then, you can still miss some that are hidden underground or up above and you'll only ever get a ping on the surface if you walked directly over it. So thanks for the unnecessary, snide response.

wow i love the zipline update. i made a base on the pond and had 2 going to it from the upperyard wall, before i realized that could only get me one way lol. now it will be super useful.
The zip line change is awesome but I would really like to see (as you mentioned) another way to farm for supreme quartzite. It’s absolutely ridiculous how much time it takes to level nine two or three weapons.
I see how a raid mode would be fun but instead of a whole mode maybe just have a battle arena inside the game itself where in terms of storyline Dr. Tully discovered why raw science made the bugs mad and accidentally made a full blow battle arena with waves and stuff like that. It would be curious to see how this could be implemented.
I would love to see a manual Ballista that fires weed stems bolts for base defense. Back in early access I totally thought that would be a thing, would be a fun item to build an put on walls.
I would really like to see the categories on the menu be collapsible. For instance on the tools crafting menu. To get to the Underwater section you have to scroll to the bottom. Which especially on console is tedious. Being able to collapse the already existing categories would make the menus feel a lot faster.

I want curved ramps and stairs to connect to the curved walls and floors. I would love to have an entrance with the curved door. But at this time you have to hop in order to go through the door and it's a bit of a pain to get through the door. The only way to do it right now is to build directly on the ground. And that doesn't looks so nice =(
I am glad with anything new Grounded! However, I do hope for new armor and weapons/bugs/insects/etc. like, a completely new weapon? or able to dual wield with a new mutation? just thinking out loud.
I have had an idea for an inventory system for a while. So basically you start the game with one row of ten slots. And you increase that through several backpacks in the game. Each backpack has a tier. Let’s say you start off with a red ant backpack, which gives you an extra row of ten. Or you start the game with 5 slots and the red ant backpack give 5 extra. And then let’s say an acorn backpack gives and extra column of 2 slots, so 22 slots in total. And then there’s spider which give you and extra column, and so on, making each backpack harder to craft. This would make people want to explore the world more and make storage more often
That sounds like a horrible start, having to farm less things at a time because you can't have all your tools and all ressources at the same time would be awful, the Gold Milk Mollar upgrades for stacks of ressources/consumables/arrrows, does the job pretty well imo

My main wishlist is for the meals to be looked at. I'd either like to see them have reduced costs or a sizable buff to their effect. As of right now they don't stack, heal about a much as a basic roast albeit with one spoil timer, and the extra buffs are so minimal and don't stack. They're an expensive novelty consumable and in multiplayer they're not really sustainable for the whole team unless one person is a dedicated cook... the increased inv change is going to only highlight these weaknesses as you'll be able to pile up weevil roasts very cheeply for extra heals and just use drinks for a little buff
lol i actually used consol commands to spawn an early version of the zip.r. it was pretty slow, so i hope it's speed it raised a bit. i haven't used it since i completed all my return lines. building them in early in the game when you can first buy the plan does take a bit. but later in the game when you have no other use for the spider silk it's actually fairly easy to setup some lines.
What would be super usefull, would be that they give the option to make your pet to Stand Still instead of moving around and always following you. Also they really should fix the bug where you just cannot access the pet inventory even thou its still alive and happy and fed.
has anyone experienced this possible glitch? I was able to click 4 over and over and instead of just swapping my one weapon in and out, it actually cycled between 3 weapons. meaning 6 presses would cycle through all 3 of them. it was pretty amazing once i realized how it worked, but it broke once i unequipped the original tool.
Farming the bugs every few days just makes the game funner. One day you go after all the black widows and wolf spiders. Next day go after all the black oxs and moths. Next day go after something else. Next day go resource gathering. Get pupas, candies, berries, etc.
Im pretty sure those walls are brand new as well, ive never seen any stone walls with stems on them, although i still just want mushroom foundations- floors =/
Move being able to craft lvl 8-9 upgrade materials to just after you unlock the undershed, maybe put a chip inside the first room after you unlock the door in addition to providing more options for materials to make them. As it is now, you don't get them until you're pretty much done with a run. Which is kind of pointless if you don't want to run around in sandbox mode after you're basically done with the story. It should be a late game thing, but as is it's too late in the game.
you are the first person I've ever seen mention this, which surprises me because its annoying and would be easy to implement. I would go further than you though and suggest that rather than 45 degrees, we just have the option to toggle grid snapping on or off (so you can place it at whatever angle you want provided it doesnt clip with anything)
if you kill every wolf spider you get one full 6/7 upgrades need 30 spider fangs you get 1 or 2. Ox Bettles drop 0 or 1 so yeah hope we can get increase drop rate for the ox bettle horns
Substitutions for renewable Supreme Whetstone and Plating is a good idea. Moth Scales and Termite King Carapace in place of Ladybird Shells and Widow fangs and Green Shield Bug Parts in place of Black Ox Horns could be 1:1 I think.
I got my wish! Going up ziplines!! I would have liked the extra space in the back pack to be a craftable backpack instead of "tadaaa, more space"! I would have liked passive mutations. I find it a pain to have to activate mitradthiranxyz#$@ism every time. Same goes to Buff Lungs, Meat Shield, Juicy, Daredevil, the one for chopping grass and the one for braking rocks.

I wish a survival mode where the story is disabled but burg´l has more quests for you and the sience shop/ molar system are more in use. There should be more raids on Base. (quests from burg´l for Base Defence! like he says "hey there is a Black ant raid! you need to defend your Base!" and you get by complete the quest 1000 sience? and the first time clear give you the unlock that you normaly get after clearing the black and hill lap) Ps: Sorry for my bad english
Good video I been obsessed with this game. I haven't played a game this much in a while. one quality of life update I would like is to be able to track your gear/weapon. On the map. I know there is something like that in the game that happens naturally but it doesn't always work. I was in the undershed last night and my level 9 black ox chest plate broke while my inventory was full and it dropped in the water where the mosquitos are and I spent an hour looking for it. I never found it. So I had to make a new one. I love your idea of upgrade resources having other bug parts being able to be used. As it is it wouldn't be to bad but killed 9 black ox beetles last night and got 3 heads. That's frustrating. I'd be fine if it was the same system as the glue masher. Lower tired bugs cost more pieces
I don't think they have a quest for all insects but they need to add them and let's say it says kill three wolf spiders after you finish the quest you should be rewarded with bug parts. Personally I don't mind the grind plus majority of my armor and weapons are already max. It's really not that hard to get the materials people just want everything handed to them. I'm a solo player so it's possible

I even have a big Basquetebol stadium in the middle of the big buildings with 10 flors and counting! The stadium is connected to the 6th floors with nothing under it! And have other buildings in other zones also! I really can't stop playing, do not care about story at all, just f. Build shite! 😁 I think I'm addicted to this, lol! The zipline update is only for ziplines that are part of the story line. You can’t build ziplines yourzelf And go up with it. Just for people that are confused.
That's just stupid. What's the point? The only story ziplines are in the hedge, the sandbox and the one at the Javamatic. By the time you get the ziplines there's really only the Javamatic and sandbox that is story orientated, meaning they are doing all that work for two ziplines.

Yes new stairs! I enjoy building in this game for fun. The aesthetics of the grass stairs doesn't go well with everything.
The stairs on the right of the picture look like Half-Stairs too. Something I'm don't think the game currently has.
You also have acorn stairs from what I remember.
I literally used feather roof pieces as stairs cause I hated how the grass stairs looks with ash/mushroom

look at at a video they are supposed to be hidden and you can buy the rs upgrade to see them on your radar.

The spiral stairs need 1 thing to make them so much better, just one more step at the top so they meet up properly with flooring

Items pinned to hotbar don't autodeposit and pinning option for items not in hotbar you don't want autodeposited. :P

The oven is the same temp all throuout, so it makes sense all 5 work at the same time. The other items are meant to only make 1 at a time.

They should just add bug parts to Quest
I love the base defense idea. It would be nice to defend your base every couple of days and it gets harder ever game week that goes by.

Mask is only good with melee builds. If you arent purely melee, then you shouldn't bother with it.

I even have a big Basquetebol stadium in the middle of the big buildings with 10 flors and counting! The stadium is connected to the 6th floors with nothing under it! And have other buildings in other zones also!

The zipline update is only for ziplines that are part of the story line. You can’t build ziplines yourzelf And go up with it.

That's just stupid. What's the point? The only story ziplines are in the hedge, the sandbox and the one at the Javamatic. By the time you get the ziplines there's really only the Javamatic and sandbox that is story orientated, meaning they are doing all that work for two ziplines.

Build from storage already works for a lot of stuff if your workbench and storage chests are close to each other
