Coming soon, RCE makes watching paint dry fun and entertaining! Love it 👍😁
im sure he could iv alredy watched it though before
Oh hey Biffa i like your videos and “hue go there”
RTGame did this already
Hahaha, thanks mate!
Painter simulator
I would have been happy with a 30-minute video of just puns tbh. :)
Then make a compilation of puns!
Yes and here is 100 likes
I don't think I could grassp that.
Been looking forward to this for a week. Can’t get enough of the adventures of Lawn Barber.
I think you've missed a pun. And a good one, too. Clearly Eliot should have been named Border. So you could have Lawn & Border.
i just spent 20 minutes watching a man cut some virtual lawn.
if you put it that way... yeah I feel different now
Almost put in a 8hr shift the other day
Don't be ridiculous, that's not true at all!
It was 22 minutes and 12 seconds.
@@haies09 lol
Same this is my seventh video in a row
"we gonna mow that realistically" *continues on with ramming the wall* 🤣😂
I was mowing the field with at the riding school. The grass was ~30cm high and had to be cut back to 7cm. The time limit was around 40 minutes. It was raining and I only had the Knight OFS1.
To make a long story short; it was so bad that I got to roughly 61% and my mower broke. I actually finnished the job with the strimmer. It took me a grand total of over 90 minutes but I finished the job.
I really need him to just insert clips of Jeremy Clarkson yelling "POWER"
I'm so surprised that Elliott didn't wreck the lawn he was given, I'm wondering if an another youtuber mocked up a catastrophic cut just for fun.
Can you see after pictures from what your employees has done?
15:20 Fun fact. Many electric cars do actually have a "single-pedal mode" that enables full-power lift-off regenerative braking so that you can use the "throttle" pedal to both accelerate and brake. Hydraulic brakes are then only needed to completely stop and/or stay stopped (motors not spinning = no regen = no braking).
Also do u drive with both feet on different petals?
@@cdickle7679 no
As someone who has cut grass before for an odd job, you do not ever want to cut grass that is too tall with a super low blade. You will clog everything with grass and leave behind giant grass clumps that have to raked, or else you burn the grass. So you put the blade up to its highest and carefully lower it each time you go over an area. It's a lengthy process, but you will then not have to rake grass up afterwards lol.
I use the 1/3rd rule
Just use a strimmer for long grass then mow it. You'll save time
Please do a mowing lawns in real life special. Would rather see that than a face reveal! :D
Our lawnmower has one pedal to stop and to change gears. You go forward when you let go of the pedal. Speed is controlled by a handle. There are 5 gears, with an additional one for driving backwards.
This is so fucking cute how excited this man is about mowing lawns, I can't
I thought your wife/girlfriend was laughing in the background but then i realized that you're a civil engineer
Hey guys, I found the architect!
He's too attractive to have just one girl... he's with the whole laugh track
@@just_maro8858 huhhhhhhhhhhhhh
This is the first time I've been awake for the release of a video.
“I wonder why they make you use both feet in a car”
M-Matt your only supposed to use your right foot in a car (unless it’s a manual but still)
I had that same thought haha
Actually some people use both legs but it's because they do a lot of kart racing that eventually transition into actual motorsports like F1 and it's a hard habit to kick so believe it or not even some of the best drivers In the world do it
That's because the majority of cars on the road in the UK are manual and not automatic, and even globally automatic cars only represent an estimated 34% of the total share!
Automatic cars are really not widespread out side of america mate
Manual is the best tho :p
We are really getting closer to the matrix. Back in the "old days" if we wanted to mow grass we would actually go out and mow grass. It also had crazy side effects like good health and money.
That additional sound in the "Hello fellow engineers" is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one
I have a sizeable lawn and I cut it with similar front deck Husqwarna. You want to avoid sharp corners and the easiest way to do this is to reverse a bit in the corner after you cut it, and then make a nice bend to it. Then just follow that with your decks outer support roller.
I think there might be a sensitivity slider in the options or controls tab if there is one, so it might help with mowing at Extreme Speeds
Been looking forward to this for a week!
This man has actual professional lawn mower insights and i love it
I helped produce the Scag Lawnmower engine! It’s a Briggs & Stratton Vanguard V-twin, I worked as an engineering intern to help improve the assembly line and to increase the productivity of it! It’s cool to see a (crappy) model of it in a game haha
That's cool!
They're pretty tough motors but I'm not so keen on the headgaskets...
That was too much mowing puns.
Should have cut it short.
The orange mower is called a zero-turn mower. Speed and heavy workload is its strengths
One thing i just realized: In the game, the only reason to pre-mow ridiculously long lawn (at your max blade height) is so that you can full-speed it later without your mower overheating. But on this lawn, your mower stayed at about half the allowable temperature. That means you pre-mowed too much - or in other words, could have gotten away with pre-mowing less of the lawn. The best way to do that would be to do stripes roughly perpendicular to the final direction and leaving some gaps in between them - or you could go crazy and draw some patterns into the grass.
The orange lawn mower in the title screen looks like a character out of cars with the van doors as eyes 🤣
10:55 I actually had this problem in real life when I first learned to cut grass. We’ve got a Turf Tiger II and I used to base where I cut off of where the wheel was. Once I learned to base off of where the deck is, it decreases my cut time by a few minutes.
My dirty mind went to inuendos when he went "its so sensitive! I am gentle on the trigger!" 😎 Slow n steady tiger 😂😂😂
I got a full wheel setup and I highly recommend you one. It's extremely immersive. If you don't wanna sped to much get a logitech one (g29 that comes with a gearbox as well). If you don't care about the price as much you can go for a t300 and get a gearbox separately, it's a much more immersive experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this. I will have a shit ton of fun!
Edit: Also the 2nd hand market is quiet good in general.
Yes very satisfying
The intro is genius! More puns more funs!
remember to use the garage tab in between jobs to fix up your mowers! they get pretty beat up, but for example changing blades on the job always costs 50£, while doing it from the garage costs as much as you damaged them (usually 3/6£). You can also train up your workers, but I didn't see that much progress from them tbh, they never get a time bonus for finishing early, for example. They do less damage to the mowers, and get a bit less fines, but it's a really long term investment, tbh longer than the probable lifespan of the game itself.
As someone who maintains grass for a living (greenskeeper) watching this hurts because we have a 1/3 rule which is don’t remove more than 1/3 of the leaf at one time. Removing more than 1/3 could damage the plant and possibly kill it. The more you know!
I'm looking forward to more of this, hope that you find it relaxing next time.
Wow. I don't think this is the real RCE. He actually finished the lawn and REVERSED on the trailer.
Trust me Matt is being Matt, he hit the exotic car on his way out :D
Pun : cow goes mowwwww
**boo sound effect**
bro it is VERY apparent you've never mowed a lawn lmao -- love it
Wait! Matt you've never used a zero turn????
It's the best way to mow a big lawn, hands down. (It's a shitload of fun too)
You can also put the mower on cruise control with the left bumper right above the trigger and around each corner, you just hit the left trigger to slow it down a little bit right triggered to speed it back up that way you don’t have to keep holding the trigger down
I LOVE this guys bro he’s amazing props to you man thank for making this so very much enjoyable content!! Everyone appreciates it!!!!!!
Not sure how the game works, but the mulch kit tends to work the engine harder. I'd also like to know if the game allows dual-striping. The crew I worked with would mow one way (discharging), then perpendicular with the bagger attached. Beautiful checker patterns on every lawn.
glad to see i'm not the only one having an issue getting HD to look good.
God those puns were entertaining lmao
I’m not a fellow engineer I’m just a nurse and yet I love watching real civil engineer do engineer stuff
Not sure if it wasn't supposed to be in it, but I noticed that this video was not in the Lawn Mowing Simulator playlist, so I missed it first when I was watching through it. Felt like an episode was missing when all of a sudden there was a SCAG in the vehicle bay.
Adding on to why not to mow in the rain, IT also is harder to cut meaning more overheating, Also huge fan of the channel so keep up the posts
The whole intro had me going “OH BROTHER THIS GUY STINKS”😂😂😂
Brilliant video!
You’re mostly talking about hydrostatic mowers which are fairly new but really nice.
I've never heard the word loppers before and I think it's the funniest thing to say!
I loved the puns! Made me smile.
Boosh! For completing your first lawn :)
Finally I can mower lawn on winter 😂
Really glad you picked up this game. Just sucks we gotta wait another week til the next episode lol.
The mow lines should show when mowing to begin with. Don't even need to make straight lines until you're striping. And striping in this game essentially gives the look of what regular mowing does in real life.
Yeah I have a lawn care company and maybe wing in the rain is the worst once it started pouring rain in the middle so I had to finish and it did not look goo in the end
Vehicles don’t have one pedal for both forward and reverse because they have gear driven drivetrains whereas many mowers & tractors have hydrostatic drives where its just the movement of fluid to change directions vs. having to change gearing.
if you like mowing like this, you might wanna try farming simulator 19 or 22. Its not related to engineering at all but as a fellow engineer i can say, its satisfying and fun lol.
There are like huge mowers and stuff, and harvesting crops obviously.
also, you make great videos!
Waiting for F1 Belgian Grand Prix
Me too
I feel you
It was so disappointing
I have been watching the safety car going around the track i want to know what the safety car times is
Kiss my Grass is really growing like weeds in the mowing industry.
That’s a hydrostatic drive mower with the push with toes to go forward and the back with the heal to go backwards. Non hydrostatic drives have one pedal and you actually have to change gear from forward and reverse and you push the one pedal the same both ways.
As a someone who sells this equipment this is great
first time watching one of your vids and jus gonna say i love the puns lmao
i love British puns they always makes me laught like " why 6 scared of 7 ? cuz 7 8 9 xDDDDDDD" and all my firends cant handle it like " what is brown and sticky ? Stick xDDDDDDDD"
My lawn mower is a push one and my stripes are almost always straight and it does have a throttle as well as front wheel drive
Thank you for curing my life long insomnia in minutes 🙃
mowing in the rain ALSO damages your blades a bit faster, for those who don't know.
Our mowing guy doesn't do it unless it's literally going to rain more than five times a week and must be cut. And when he does have to, he sharpens the blades after.
Same applies to putting CUTTING knives in the dishwasher, if you have proper chef knives with a real edge, always hand wash.
I know if I got this I would play it for a few hours then never pick it up again but you make it look like fun and I want to play
The drive system is called hydrostatic they also still hv just normal gears on alot of ride ons aswell
So many lawn related puns at the beginning. XD
Hey RCE not sure if you realized or if it helps but the elite series 2 controller has tension control to make the stick less sensitive 👍
STUCK ON A TREE...AND YOURE TO BLAME... YOU GIVE GETTING STUCK ON A TREE...A BAD NAME! 🎸🎶
You must be really high on grass to be able to make this extremely enjoyable!
Very much enjoyed it.
Nice. I called my company Grassholes. lol.
Zero turns with the dual handles are amazing, but it's very easy to tear up the grass while turning. Love the vids, always enjoyable!
Unless you get the turf-safe tires, but then you have no traction and end up spinning the wheels constantly instead of turning around.
@@StapleCactus yeah, they are better at protecting the lawn, but the lack of traction really bothered me, finally replaced them with some that had more tread on them. Not to bad at tearing the grass up as long as your careful!
@@slg2771 Tearing up the grass to turn doesn't bother me much, so I've been waiting for the turf-safe ones to finally go bald. 6 years now I've had the machine. The deck rollers dig into the grass anyway. I wonder why they haven't made a more perpendicular-friendly wheel for the deck yet.
@@StapleCactus That's interesting, I've never had problems with the deck rollers. However I do mow the lawn a little higher than most, to avoid tree roots. And same here, I'm not going for a golf course rated cut, and if I'm carefull, the tires aren't that destructive.
@@slg2771 For some reason, my deck wheels always touch the ground no matter what height I run at. No amount of leveling fixes it. That was before they got damaged, though, so now they are bent downward from hitting tiny tree sapling stumps and I can't bend the steel back. So when new, the wheels would skate across the ground when turning, but now dig into the soil because of the 45 degree angle the wheels sit at.
The difference is in the transmission, most lawn mowers and small tractors are hydraulically driven(hydrostatic transmission) and cars driven by gears
the reason why there are two different pedals and cars and one on lawn mowers is because, lawn mowers run on hydrostatic drive so they use a hydraulic pump and motors to drive, where as cars run through a transmission.
This series is growing on me ;)
In my primary school someone won quote of the year when asked "what happened to jesus at the last supper" he replied "someone grassed im up" 😂
OMGGG THE INTRO SOUND SSOO NOSTALGIC
You earned my undying love just because of the puns
That was nice. Thank you!
Loving this series
You could install the longer analog stick for the sensitiv mowers.
The stripes have finally arrived
Maybe do some looking into the different between a hydrostatic transmission in a mower and a gear trans in a vehicle lol
Matt the algorithm made me watch your gold rush videos... when will we get episode 4?! Its been over a year!
Thx for the great vids 👍
I use zero turns at work like the scag, and let me tell you there so much fun once you get the hang of it. I might have to purchase this game since it seems like a lot of fun
The intro to this vid made my bones hurt to many grass puns
I got 2 15 second ads at the beginning but great video, I enjoy them :)
That first dude had Lykan Hypersport for a car. There is only three in the world and cost like 3 million quid. and RCE just sideswiped outta there lmao
I just can't even fathom the existence of this game...
RCE, if you want to you, you can turn down your analog stick sensitivity so your new mower is useable
The one pedal drive system your are talking about, it’s called a hydrostatic transmission
Just an FYI. On the Xbox elite controller series 2 you can lift of the thumb sticks and on the shaft the thumb stick slides on you will see a tiny cross ❌. You can get your little tool that is in the case kind of looks like a tear drop. You can turn that cross left or right and that will tighten or loosen the analog stick spring. If you tighten it it will make the analog stick harder to move. Good for fps games that you need accuracy. Turn it the other way will loosen it making the stick easier to move. You can only turn the cross 3 clicks. It like a high, medium, low.
Oh, hello there fellow engineer.
