+Zoran Jager good question, seems a bit much to power out of that connector. But I've seen splitters and adapters to apparently power heated grips, aux lights, and the power socket all from this one connector. Maybe why the grips don't get so hot?
+Zoran Jager Personally my intention is to run two wires up front for the power socket and GPS but I'm looking for an easy way to install the socket, there is a hole below it you can bring the wires through but other than gluing the socket in I need to put it's lock ring on back of it.
+Zoran Jager sorry for my late answer, but jim gave already some information. :) Both connector circuits are running over the same fuse - so actually its one big circuit and so it doesn't matter where, front or rear, you connect which appliant. It's a 10A fuse, that means worst case you can connect an 120W electric load before the fuse smokes to the sky... All the stuff you want to install is in total for sure not getting into that range. The ATs alternator provides 490W @5000 rpm. So i guess there is enough power left for heating up the grips. Another way to install your stuff without worrying about glowing wires at a simultaneous using is to use the red-yellow cable as a control circuit for an relay. Here you can support battery power directly to the appliant (and use your own choosen fuse).

OK I took off my left fairing painted panel. That along with some smaller panels allowed me to lift the socket inner panel up and away enough to install a power socket. I also installed a coax panel mount socket no drilling needed, it fit in the smaller grommet hole perfectly. That one will power my GPS. I'm running two sets of wires up from under the seat where I put one of my very own 3 Circuit Solutions. It also powers a coax socket on the left side for my heated gear. I'm all set now and no need to remove the windshield or right side or the front left inner panel. Thought I was stumped on the left painted panel. I had all fasteners off but it was still stuck on the upper part. I was bending it quite a bit and finally I heard quite a loud snap. The panel had unsnapped itself nothing broke, whew. Oh ya, the turn signal unit had to be unbolted and hung there while the socket inner panel is worked on. Make a note where wires go so they go back together the same way. I'll have some pics online soon if anyone is interested I'll post them on the Facebook group.

Wo hast den Kabelbaum zum Navi angeschlossen und wo den Spannungswandler befestigt (versteckt)? 2. Passt der Touratech Halter direkt an die Querstrebe der AT oder benötigt man hierfür nen Adapter? Pipe Down I have an AT from 2018, I don't have any blue either. The green and red is exactly the opposite, bottom left is green, bottom right is red-yellow.

Heimo Danzinger laut Lehrbuch eigentlich immer abklemmen, sobald was mit Elektrik gemacht wird, aber in der Praxis... ;) Den Displaystecker kannst du ohne Bedenken jederzeit auch mit angeklemmter Batterie lösen. Durch die Führungen kann kein Pin irgendwo anders Kontakt haben oder man den Stecker schief aufstecken, keine Sorge.
+Christopher Hanzl Hi Christopher, ich habe das originale Garmin-Kabel an den hinteren Stecker angeschlossen und seitlich unterm Tank bis zum Cockpit gefummelt. Einerseits ist da der klobige Kasten (Spannungswandler) am Kabel, den ich ungern vorn verstauen will und andererseits die Sicherung, die ich gern direkt griffbereit haben will, ohne groß was abbauen zu wollen. Leider war das Kabel etwas zu kurz bis zur Navi-Halterung und ich habe großzügige 30 cm Kabel zwischengelötet. Habe mir unterm Soziussitz einen separaten 4-fach Sicherungskasten (nach "Sicherungsträger 12V" googeln) gesetzt, an dem ich das geschaltete Plus des hinteren Steckers verteilt habe auf 1) Bordsteckdose, 2) Nebelleuchten 3) Navi-Strom, je mit 1A oder 2A Sicherung.

Hell Yeah geht beides vorn. Navi zieht kaum Strom und wenn du keine Hüpfburg mit einem Kompressor über die 12V Dose aufpumpen möchtest, dann ist der Kabelquerschnitt des vorderen Anschlusses ausreichend. ;)

Hell Yeah ich weiß nicht, ob Honda das mittlerweile geändert hat, aber an meiner 2016er war vorn ein Stecker mit geschlossenen Dichtungen und hinten ein Blindstecker. Wenn du passende Kontakte hast, kannst du den Stecker vorne also nutzen. Alternativ gibt es die Stecker auch teuer bei einigen Anbietern. Habe aber auch noch Restbestände einer Forumsaktion daheim liegen, da könnte ich günstig was abgeben.
Is there any way to get to the back of the cigarette socket hole to secure a socket there? Can just that back panel come off? That would make so much sense. That panel seems separate, removal of one screw and some pins and it gets loose but I don't see how to pop it out, maybe there is a way?

+Ale Hi Ale, where are you from? Meanwhile there are a few sources to get the connectors from, rugged roads for example. But you can google for "Sumitomo Connector" and search for the 4- or 6-pin-version. The cheapest way to get some of these connectors is to order them in China (did it too, fit and work perfectly) from alibaba or aliexpress (.com).

Sasa Djuric Hi Sasa, warning light is maybe not the correct term, hazard flasher is better. Means both sides of turn signals are activated at the same time. The rear accessory plug is meant for the OEM alarm system, so you can use it of course for your bike alarm.
