He was saying that he just went through the blogs and UA-cam videos but in LinkedIn he had joined the data science course from Genpact. Then he was working with OYO as a project lead and with reliance also. How could he learnt in 6 months without having any prior knowledge of even computer science.

Link is provided above.According to this dude he started with Machine Learning in Nov 2019 before landing a job with OYO in 2020 but he forgot to mention that from June 2018 to June 2019 He was working with Reliance where in he performed Various data Science related work. So So it took him more than 6 months as he making it out to be.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, one cannot learn data since in 6 months. There is toooo much to cover. I just started taking machine learning back in January where I took a level master's course and I it was hardly sufficient to cover the subject. There are concepts, programming and applications. Python, C++, MATLAB, take your pick. Both MATLAB and Python are easier to learn, but if you want to get into autonomous vehicles and/or robotics, gotta work on C++.
I am also from mechanical background and recently i worked as a software developer and learn data science by myself and i got lot of knowledge from your channel and make a AI model on odoo for the company .. sir you are a great teacher . Civil engineering is still a technical domain.. The mathematics part like Calculus and Linear Algebra is taught in Civil Engineering classes.. Civil engineering is a useless degree. I have graduated out of BITS Pilani and tried to continue in core civil but failed. There are quite a few opportunities in civil and civil engineers who did mistake of continuing in core, are in a rut. There is no engineering left in India. Period.

@@askundu99 I am working in operations which has nothing to do with civil engineering. This was separate recruitment for which eligibility was B.Tech in any stream or BSc Physics+ MBA. Civil engineering has pathetic campus placements even in TIER-1 colleges, and only state govt jobs are left which are too few and their recruitment is too slow.

Hi Sir, I was working in an IT company for 2 years ( Support Job non tech ) , also it had 2 years bond , so couldnt leave before that , now I am planning for switch to Data science role . I did lot of certification and some projects in Data science Python , R , ML , SQL , and tried for internship , to begin with data science practice , but there the recruiter is like you have 2 years experience , why you want to join internship now ( even after answering almost all answers confidently ) , can you give some advise here , dont want to create year gap in my profile .

Hello, you can try in soft field in civil engineering too, or you can do SAP in material management so using your current experience you can land up into IT Or at last data scientist path is ahead of you.
