nice informative vid Kristian, would that style rig with strung-out bulk be okay to be fished in open water or is it meant to be used up to a slope? Also, do you start the shotting from the top of hook length, and are they about an inch apart .I have made a purchase of floats used from match-winning edges, so any help would be much-apreciated thanks
Hi Ray. Glad you enjoyed the video! Yes these same rigs would work fine in open water. I’d just up the size of the float when fishing in a bit deeper water. The shotting starts above the 4 inch hooklength and they are spread around 1.5 inch apart.
just a quick one please, you say the shotting starts from the top of hook length, looking at your vid it looks like there is just one shot placed directly above hooklength then a couple of inches before you put the main spread bulk,or is all the spread bulk coming away from the top of hook length
Hi Ray. Yeah the shotting starts from just above the hooklength are spread around 1.5 inch apart. Sometimes I will taper the spacing a bit depends how deep the peg I’m fishing is so that my shotting is in the bottom 1/3 of the rig so maybe that’s why it appears to be like this?
Great video Kristian 👍🏻
Nice one again Kristian
Can u do a vid of your tackle room and what u have in it and where to get it from
You can get all the tackle Kristian uses off matchwinningedges.com
Would you use this rig with hard pellets too mate ?
Obviously with a banded hooklength
Hi Steve, Yeah mate these are the same rigs I use for hard pellets for f1s 😊
