I installed ExpressVPN. I am in Canada and then installed the ROKU channel. All of the content comes up when I have the VPN in the USA however the content will not play. I have unplugged and replugged firestick in and deleted and reinstalled ROKU but still no luck. Seems you have it working in the video. What am I missing?

It’s connected by HDMI almost every TV has HDMI. The TV processor doesn’t play a role here. Fire TV is like a separate device your tv is just used for displaying the Fire TV. Buy it it’s great for old TVs
Roku channel app works fine and if you're not in the USA use a VPN. If you're streaming you should already know what a VPN is, how it works and how to use it. I use Nord but Award is an excellent no log free vpn

total waste of time....clicked on 'roku channels' like you said...then ad appeared, closed that....then nothing but an empty page, no download button anywhere...tried again, same result...lost the will to live and gave up!

Express VPN doesn’t always work great. So it may not be a problem on your end.
I'm in the U.K, tried it without a VPN, the app just froze.
Tried it with a VPN and selected America and it works fine.

At 7:24 in your video you can see the ‘Playback Error’ message, this message appears when you click on any content on the Roku app.
