Mam as you taught
As
Eat =have
Drink= have
Same things
"Experience= have"
I have in Chicago in 2020= I experience in Chicago in2020
Sir is it right please reply
Yes, ‘to have’ has the meaning ‘to eat/ drink’. Regarding experience, we can say ‘to have an experience’. For example,
“I have an experience of five years in the field of marketing’.
@@EverydayEnglishwithSoniaI means
in the place of "experience "
We use " have" like this mam
I experience in Chicago in 1993.
I have in Chicago in 1993 .
Please reply
@@samin21 ‘To have’ can mean ‘to experience’.
E.g. We are having a good time
here.
We don’t have any problem.
@@EverydayEnglishwithSonia mam
We can not replace each other
@@samin21 When ‘experience’ is used as a verb, ‘have’ can replace it. But ‘have’ CAN’T be used instead of ‘experience’ when it is used as a noun. Hope this helps!
1) main verb 2). Helping verb 3) helping verb ls it right mam'm? Thank you
Perfect answers!! 👌🏻👌🏻
Hi madom we expecting more video
😊👍🏼
1.main verb,2.helping verb,3.helping verb
Perhaps you had covered it earlier. A few observations: a) When a sentence ends in an abbreviated word, should it have two full-stops? E.g., He/she has an exam..(?) It could be a typo. 2) Every tense changes using a helping verb, and not the main verb alone. E.g. I have = I do have. She has = She does have. He has...; He does have...; Does he have...? Yes, he has...(Yes, he does have...); No, he doesn't have...Yes, people use, He has a book. Has he a book? Yes, he has... No, he has not... This is a beginner's learning style. I may be a very conventional grammarian...!
I had a car- main verb
I have sold my car-Helping verb.
she hasn't Washed- Helping veb.
It's a very useful lesson ... Thank you so much .. mam
@@balachandranbalakrishnan553 All these work based on helping verbs only.
Thanks for your valuable feedback!!
No, this exact topic wasn't taken up earlier. And regarding the double full stops, it wasn't a typo- it was intentional. 😊
The example sentence was "I have an exam today". When the 'I' was replaced by he / she and we / they, I didn't type in the entire sentence, though I mentioned the whole sentence while explaining. I just wanted to make it clear to the viewers that only a part of the sentence was typed in there. Hope you noticed that I did the same with the previous example too. (I live...)
True, the auxiliaries help the main verbs express their tense, mood etc.
And in the sentences you have mentioned, the 'do' and 'does' are used to add emphasis.
@@EverydayEnglishwithSonia I live... is absolutely correct, because it has three dots. I sought clarification because of the use of two dots. Good night.
