No. Tiers have to do with how the characters stack up with each other, not the players. Akuma is top tier because he has very few bad matchups, Zangief is lower tier because he is at a disadvantage against any character with a fireball or fast pokes like Chun.

He uses the Madcatz Street Fighter x Tekken pads. Movement and execution is much easier with that d-pad since it's larger and the button layout is more like a fight stick's. I also think that comboing normals on pad is much easier since the time it takes to press the buttons is reduced because of how small and close together they are.

It's could be beneficial because you'll have multiple fingers to work with as opposed to just dancing your thumb around the buttons. Although I'm sure he moves his hands around a lot because the left and right triggers are not easily accessible if you do his method unless you have big hands that can stretch. To be honest with you, I kinda prefer using my thumb for the buttons anyways. It's really all personal comfort in the end.

it's odd that no one has brought up mike ross' reverse ocv in a so cal vs nor cal exhibition. it was online, but the lag couldn't have been that huge a factor considering the fact that they live only a few hours from each other. it was fucking awesome.

I have no clue how he does it myself. I know its alot easier to do 720s with a pad but the combos are such a pain to pull off
