Great game for a neutral, this had it all! Sky Blues v Watford

5th game of the 23/24 Championship season saw Watford visit the CBS. Cov starting the game 12th, Watford just a point and a few places behind.
We went to the ground a little earlier than normal, so Charlie had a few pictures with some of the players before we headed into the game.
The game would have been great for a neutral to watch, but for Cov or Watford fans I’m sure there were a few of us who were left feeling very disappointed by the level of defending.
Cov getting a first half penalty which at the time seemed very harsh, which the Watford keeper saved well although it was at a nice height for the keeper to save.
That’s when the game went bananas with poor passing by both teams and possession regularly given away. The referee also made a few strange calls during the game too.
So we ended level, Cov dropping down to 14th and Watford 18th but it’s still early days but lots for both managers to work on over the International break.
