How to Assemble Clock Mechanism

How to assemble clock mechanism tutorial shows the layers of hands and the order by which they will need to be assembled. The smallest hand is the hours hand. The one that looks like the hours hand but larger is the minutes hand. The seconds hand is normally the same length as the minutes hand but much thinner.

If your clock hands have become loose during shipment or you have accidentally tried to manually move the hands to set the time, this video will show you how to reset the hands after disassembling them. Always remove the battery before doing any maintenance on a clock. Hands should easily pop off or slide off the center piece of the clock mechanism.
