Like others have said absolutely great! It is one thing to scratch build from your imagination like your award winning Space Ship but now to build from real life as well! It's amazing Dave. Looking forward to your next build. KA
Great piece my friend, I am so glad i found your channel. I'm fairly new to the hobby and I've spent the entire day watching your videos. I am picking up lots of techniques from you. I'm so grateful you are taking the time to share your ideas. I'm astonished you only have 29K subscribers when channels like Black Magic Craft have over 100,000. It says a lot about how little society values quality these days, it seems they prefer things cheap and easy.
Dave - I love how you've progressed scratch building your houses/buildings and this kind of modelling can easily take over completely on the bench... Making something that looks accurate and good is hard, but making it look like a real piece of art is bloody hard - and you've really nailed it imho! The doughnuts van and the sandwich store are awesome and unique, and so is the TV and HiFi repair store, because the details you've made and put in them, and now the progression to a model house in 1/24 scale. Very cool indeed! :)
Superb build from start to finish. Lots of scratchbuilding and innovative solutions to problems (the round light shade for example) and also some simple solutions: dirt looks like... dirt. Who knew? Good series and well worth a second watch as there's a lot to take in. Nice work - well done mate.
Gary Parker thanks mate. This series was mostly due to the fact that you asked for a whole build to be documented, so thanks for requesting me to do it and not be so lazy! ;)
An epic build, Dave....and a beaut result in the end. You must have a great deal of satisfaction with this diorama....really terrific details from start to finish. Such a great watch....thank you!!
Thank you for this series Dave. There are so many interesting materials and textures on the original building to provide a real challenge to replicate in scale. It was enjoyable to follow on the journey and learn some new things. Can't wait for the next projects.
We need you to build a space ship!! I’d love your thought in the exact size that “miniture” ships need to be to be filmed realistically?? This might be outside your wheelhouse, but thought that it was worth an ask! 😀🤞
Another spectacular model, Dave! I asked about your electronics shop build and I'll ask again here: did you take it over and give the homeowners a look at your work?
Absolutely awesome Dave, you did good boy......what does the owner say? Would love to have seen his reaction to it. You take care as always from South Africa 🇿🇦
Love the model but the prototype is an indictment of the depths that contemporary "architecture" has plummeted to . Grey boxes that look like low security prisons and don't get me started on the "gardens".
Bill Hollingsworth I’ll be honest, it’s not my scene, I much prefer older places. But 8 did enjoy the discipline it required, I couldn’t hide any mistakes with grime or pass off wonky angles by saying “meh, it’s 100 years old”! ;)
Us Kiwis and Aussies say pot plants, in the States it is potted plants? Saying pot plants here doesn't get an unexpected audience because we know what is being meant. But I will have to remember that when addressing an international audience in future.
Another great one Dave. I really like the fact that you are building models of real buildings in your area. Looking forward to your next challenge!
The whole street?
Thanks Steve. I’ve started the next one, it’s a warehouse. Soon I can make a whole street!
Another outstanding work of art,brilliant

Was wondering why this was in 1/24th and not 1/20th until I saw the car. Wonderful piece, well done.

So true but remember it is the cracks that let in the light.
potted plant... When you call it a "pot" plant you may draw an unexpected audience... HAHA
Michael C bwahahaa, I hadn’t thought of that!
