I do the same - try to get back home about once a year. Sometimes, it ends up being once every two years and every now and then, I get there twice in a year. I moved out very early at 16. Stayed with my uncle for my senior year in high school and then moved out on my own. Took my daughter and moved to Virginia from Jersey going on 19 years ago, and Mom, Dad and my sister are still back in Jersey. It's nice to go back home every now and then, isn't it? 😊My daughter is their only grandkid, well, I say kid, but she's 31 years old now! I love that you got to have those special moments with your daughter. Hey, doggies are children too! Lord knows, it feels like it - not just the loving, but the responsibilities. That reminds me, I also have a brick of Cozy Kitchen. I need to get into it and I think November would be a good month to do so. I didn't pick up any of the bricks this year either. At least not yet. I did the same as you this year - threw the "Christmas Tree Brick" bars into my Club. I recently received the bars, and not sure I want any of them in bricks. We'll see after I warm them. I definitely feel like the bricks were better last year. I've been trying to make a dent in my retail wax collection and am finding that quite a few are light. I wonder if there is something to them sitting for a bit. Maybe they just don't hold up as well. I don't know. I warmed Apple Butter Frosting (Scentsy dupe) from Kae's and did not get good performance. I was so sad. I thought maybe I didn't let it cure enough, so I will probably try again. I think. I have never made a direct purchase - only some scores from destashes. So I have very little experience with her wax. I have never tried Blank Label, but I have heard of them. I am SO jealous of all of you who get great performance from TSGS! SO jealous! Just goes to show - always try warming, right?! That's amazing how the Hayden Rowe scent turned out. I didn't realize she was still (going to be) pouring wax. For some reason, I thought she was closed, closed... but I haven't followed closely. I need to try something from her. I've heard good things. Girl, I have been extremely busy. Especially with work. Last week was insane, and then my boss just handed me a new job this morning where I've got to work on corporate documents in 21 states. Good gosh, that is half the country! Great to hear about what you've been warming! Fall is definitely a busy time for me work wise. The last quarter of the year through the first couple weeks of January it's busy for my desk. My favorite melt of the week was Plumeria Waters from Scentsationals. That is a forever buy scent for us and we just went through one more clam ^-^ I tried to melt some pumpkin but it is just not the temperature for that yet. I was unhappy that day LOL
